Gonna be lively in leeds, probably be better fights outside the ring on the night 😂
Josh looks in better shape than Jack
Josh looks bad man. You can tell he’s been cutting weight too much and it’s even affecting how he physically looks.
And mentally with some of the crap he’s come out with
Josh looks shot to bits - but the fight is set to be a snorenator.
So I would say Josh needs to move up weight, remember Duran and Hearns started light weight world champions ended up both moving up to middle weights . And both achieving greatness at middle weights . Josh man your to light now
Hearns was never a lightweight, he started as a a welter 147 pounds, Duran was possibly the greatest lightweight ever 135 pounds but he was never the same force at heavier weights (he was ageing) By the time he fought at middleweight he was a shadow of the force of nature he had been in his youth, but like all great champions he could be effective even though reduced.
Sugar Ray Robinson is remembered as a great Middleweight but he was at his best as a welter and was unbeaten as welterweight champion which he won in 47, by 51 when he won the middleweight crown he was 30.
@@Caskchap thanks for the reply. Yes your correct Hearns 147 . Was just making point how they all gained weight over the years .. Josh needs to move up he looks ill
Asking Brits whether a Brit or Scot will win.. of course they pick the Brit ;) ... In all seriousness, Caterall has the chip on his shoulder and wants to win more than Josh.
I still want
taylor vs progreis 2
Taylor vs jose ramirez
So you want to see rematches basically, as Taylor has beaten both of them years ago .. i would préfère to see him against Souleymane Cissokho, Mario Barrios or Conor Benn at 147 to begin with and if he stays at 140lb à bit longer, Gustavo Lemos to fully come back again.
Taylor still has the best resume at 140lb in my humble opinion
@Pablo-ig7tx his career at 140 is legendary especially if he beats catteral (convincingly) that should be the last at 140 though, if he does stay him vs progas is a great rematch I had them fight off the year the year they fought
@@donjohnston6420 Exactly, his only downfall is him being European and not English. As i said in my other comments regarding Taylor, Josh has the best resume at 140lb currently, and i dont see how it could be argue to be honest .. he also has a better than previous popular 140lb such as Danny Garcia or Lucas Matthysse who were not as successful as him at that weight. Garcia's best win at 140lb was Matthysse and the latter resume at that weight was solid, especially when you see how many 140lb are overrated nowadays .. but Matthysse always fell short against a better competition wether it is Danny Garcia, Victor Postol .. and Garcia lost against Herrera, fought à very close fight against Peterson ( i did not saw it but it is what was said ) and he never fought Postol ..
Taylor is the better 140lb we have had for YEARS and Crawford was up there also.
Ps : I am Part Argentine and Part French so believe me i would have loved Matthysse to have a better career because he had it all except his heart while facing opposition of à better calibre than his others bouts ..
@@Pablo-ig7tx yea I think it's the best 140 resume at least of the past 8 years, danny garcia however wasn't defeted until he came to 147 against Thurman
@@donjohnston6420 Danny Garcia should definitely have lost against Herrera in Puerto Rico and his resume at 140lb is not that good to be honest if you take into consideration Morales was way past his prime, Judah as well .. for example. Had à very close win against Peterson, never fought Postol..
His best Wins are A Prime Lucas Matthysse and Amir Khan.
At 147lb Danny did padd his record pretty good : Vargas, Malignaggi, Redkach, Granados among others .. lost against the Tops each and every time.
Danny is good/solid but that is it, i still see Josh Taylor as the most accomplished and the one who has the better resume at 140lb 😊
Taylors obviously shot but if he's put in a decent camp this time then he should beat jack , catteral is not a good fighter tbh
Not a good fighter? He should be the champion after destroying Josh last time but got robbed.
Catteral is an excellent fighter who should have a victory over Taylor already in the bag , but that night Taylor was not himself, this time we should see a different Taylor, but to me he looks a bit shot, catteral may have his number . Time will tell.
@@SearchingForTheAnswer hardly destroyed him, he won the first 6 rounds then completely ran out of steam , Taylor was a zombie in that fight he completely messed up his camp one way or another and catteral still couldn't stop him, catteral was exhausted in the 2nd half of the fight he done nothing
@@robertgreen5217 JC is a British title level fighter
@@thehitman1980 well in that case it should be a very easy night for Taylor.
Let's go Josh!
Jack will get smoked if he can't beat a poor josh Taylor 1st time he will definitely get knocked out
Shud beef up has everything else🥊
Catterall all day
Saludos a todos y mucha suerte.
Josh is one of few guys who makes Jack seem likable. I hope Jack puts him out of sport. Josh was always more hype than anything. Was good but not great and when he fought top guys it showed. He also said Terrance Crawfords name at 147 how many times? N Crawford wanted that fight no surprise. The duck and the douche
Josh was more than simple hype, he has beaten good quality opposition at his weight with back to back wins ; and in under 20 fights became undisputed.
Matthysse in his time was Hyped for example : never could beat quality opposition when he had great fights ( lost to Danny Garcia , Victor Postol ).
Danny Garcia was another 140lb hyped at that weight because of his win over an already hyped Matthysse, very close his fight with a past his prime Peterson , lost against Herrera but was gifted a decision , never fought Postol ..
Had wins over à past his prime Morales, Judah .. what à record 😅
Comparing to them Josh Taylor has been much more impactful at his weight , against better opposition in the process and in less Fights, so if he is hype what are Very well known past 140lb such as the ones mentionned above ? ...
@dm-uc5vkI’m shocked to see Taylor as the betting underdog. I was at his title unification vs Ramirez and if he fights half that well, he wins cleanly
Still don't understand why Taylor keeps calling Jack stupid... it's like a kid in a playground with no real meaningful words. Where on earth did he fabricate this narrative from? It's weird.
He offered catteral five pounds or ten pounds , he took the fiver and bought colouring crayons with it 👍
Good not great😂😂😂😂 bezt 3 world champions in 18 fights 😂😂😂 first undeafeted undisputed from Britain super seies winner 😂😂😂 ye your right he wzsnt very good 😂😂😂go and watch jake pzul you absolutel belter 😂😂the first
Mate you are absolutely out of it. How many lines have you had? You meant to post this as a response to another comment and instead you posted it as its own comment. And riddled with typos. Partying hard, eh, lad?
🤣🤣🤣 etched his name in history with his feats in under 18 fighta yet hes not good hes just hype according to someone lol
Most don't understand boxing. So no surprise there
😂 this comment section makes no sense, but Taylor's carrer is easily HOF worthy if he can get a win Saturday, would look so much better at welterweight though
