In the good old days (obviously not in Yorkshire...) this would have been independently produced and shown on the BBC. We can all hanker for it, my mum and dad told me to watch only BBC and not that terrible ITV. And probably that’s still the way I feel some 55 years on...

@@harrydwyer I had visions of another prop replacement, with the two of you camped on the cliff until DPD could deliver a fresh one to the slipway. Do you carry a spare?
@@harrydwyer I've just brought a bungee anchor line from Boatworld. Not tried it yet but the idea is you drop the bungee line with anchor off the stern 20m from the shore, then slowly motor onto the beach(remembering to lift the OB before it gets too shallow ;-) ) secure the bow line with a land stake and then once disembarked with all of your kit hold on to the bow line whilst the bungee pulls the vessel back out into deeper water. Once in a safe place secure the bow line again back to the land stake and Voila! Boat should now be safely anchored up just off shore. Then when ready to depart simply pull the boat back toward you using the bow line, jump in, let the bungee pull you back to a safe distance to drop the OB again and finally retrieve the anchor :-) As I said I haven't tried it yet but cant wait till lockdown is lifted to give it a go. With 3 months between episodes, it's a brilliant surprise when one pops up, and at the same time a little depressing knowing that we might have to wait 3 months for the next.
Stumbled across this wonderful little series. Had been thinking of doing a round Ireland in my own rib for a while... now I'm definitely on for it! Fair play lads!!

Harry, this is brilliant mate. I have had small boats for nearly 30 years, mostly used up here for loch and coastal fishing, currently run a Whaly 370, probably the smallest boat I've owned but certainly the most robust, versatile and stable out the lot. When I've been out on the coast, I have often thought about whether or not I would be able to motor round the whole of Britain, what fuel I'd need, where I would stop, how long it would take me, what challenges would lie ahead, all that kind of stuff 😊 and here you are doing it😂 good on ya ! , I love it ! honestly bud, this makes top viewing, even my wife is hooked. Great video/film Harry, enjoying it immensely right now. Would it be possible for you to post an episode overview in the video description of when (starting date and ending date) each episode was filmed?
Without a doubt... this content and filming is worthy of prime time tv in the same flavour as somewhere at sea with Tim Spall. Im absolutely loving what you do and really hope you continue another series after you finish this one..
The whole around the Uk thing in a Tiny speedboat all sounded like a crazy idea. But I am hooked! So interesting. Thank you for showing me what I am missing right on my doorstep.
Lovely to see you out and about again. I really like your casual and humourus attitude. I enjoyed this video particurlarly much, as I have been walking all the coastline that you now passed by boat up to Westward Ho! Except from Lundy, which is on my bucket list 😊

What a wonderful island we live on. Our coast is absolutely stunning. Thanks to Goodwin crew and the awesome aerial shots from the Goodwin drone. Great episode that has been worth wait for. Now waiting for the next episode.

In 1974 or 75 before breaking up for the 6 weeks holiday from school, we were all herded into the school hall to have announcements made and films to watch. This film was called RIDE THE WHITE HORSES and it was about these fast speed boats with 3 and 4 Mercury outboard engines onthe back of each one.
