Immediate results for me! I paired it with a clarifying shampoo, then Shea Moistures JBCO Strengthen and Restore conditioner and natural curls that were turning to frizzy crimps 😳 are now returning soft and curly again, before and after styling. I have K18 and it has helped my hair tremendously. I learned that for curly hair, it should be paired with a deep conditioner. So basically you clarify your, towel dry, put the k18 on (rub it in your hands until it’s white and then apply), after 4 minutes add your deep conditioner, then rise out and style as normal. Can you speak on which treatments can sh3ccessfuly restore disulfide bonds? Ive decided to become what I deem a stretched natural (weekly blow drying but no straightening) but I am interested in keeping the integrity of my curl pattern when it reverts under water.

L'Oreal owns garnier (as well as redken) so they're basically the same products, and both products use the same 15% citric acid in their formulation. But the garnier one seems to be a bigger bottle compared to l'oreal. So buy garnier if your store sells both

Hey love for that level of damage I recommend a true bond repair like olaplex or k18 and a ton of moisture from Ingredients like Hylauronic acid or squalane (look for products with these ingredients) trim as much as you are willing let go of the damage if you’re willing to big chop that’s even better - If you’re shedding that’s different from breakage and in that case I recommend you see a dermatologist to see if there is a deeper issue

I’m a natural baddie who rarely uses heat/flat irons etc. I went to my hair salon today for a blow out, trim and flat iron for my upcoming 35th college reunion later this week. She used this system and told me it is formaldehyde free but would give me the look and feel of a Brazilian or Dominican. Did I make a mistake? I ❤ my hair! She promised that next week when I wash my hair, my natural curls will return. What are your thoughts on this system. I kinda feel like it’s a protein treatment.

I’m about to cut my hair to grow out layers and I want to focus on not only my scalp/internal health to grow out healthy hair but the crappy stuff already there gotta stick around for a minute too bc I’m not willing to go shoulder length 😂
