- Ok, let me just say this... I love this game. Yeah that's right, I do. I know the game has a more darker story, the levels are much longer than the previous two games, the combat can get crazy at times, I could go on but you get the idea. Honestly, I don't mind these changes at all.
When I checked the cards section off-screen after beating the game, I saw there were a few cards I didn't get. Only conclusion I could come to was that it could've been a glitch. But enough, let's quickly talk about the gameplay.
You play as the titular yellow ball himself exploring locations like the Gogekka Heights, Banni Canyon, The Spectral Realm and more. Encounter various monster creatures and robots to engage in combat scenarios, use multiple types of Power Pellets to help defeat the hordes of them that try to stop you. Collect fruit and other goodies and you even get to play as Clyde and Pinky which is pretty cool.
I also love how this game was created to celebrate Pac-Man's 25th anniversary. I think it's a great payoff if you ask me.

I adore this game, absolutely one of my favorite 3D platformers. The dialogue is really smart and funny, and the levels are just great. Don't care what anyone else says

This was quite possibly my favorite game when i was a kid. It was so much harder for me than pac man world 2. Thanks for capturing this so we can all relive some great memories.

This game is not difficult in the slightest, it is the easiest and weakest one of the trilogy by a long shot, you just suck at it that's the problem right there, and you prolly started with this game first as a kid , well lemme tell you this is objectively the worst/ weakest one of the franchise acccoridin' to score, fans, and how different and unfaithful it is to it's predecessors, World 2 is da BEST, always will be with World 1 in second place.
I wish they can make a trilogy of Pac-Man World.

I love this game, too. The story, the physics, the mechanics, the gameplay, the voice acting, all perfect. I don't care if everyone hates this game, this is just a great game. I give it a 10/10. My brother Ronald beat the game 100% on a PS2 emulator called PCSX2.

Talk about full circle. I would have never thought, the main villain from the first game would need your help in this one. 😏 Storyline is great.

If you ignore all the (sometimes) unecessarily boring combat, a great game with a super underrated soundtrack. Like, seriously some of the most philosophical sounding songs I hear no one talk about.

No way....I remember renting Pac Man World 2 from blockbuster, I never knew there was a 3rd game.
After so many years I finally found it I will play this game all the time as a kid but I never had a memory card so I never saw the end and whenever I got almost halfway done I found out my dis was scratched and I wasn’t able to play anymore so it warms my heart to finally find a full play
Holy shit same, just picked one up off a local site like ebay not too long ago. Life’s been changed, always had 2 flimsy ones growing up. So shit like monkey ball, and tony hawk underground 2 even were like playing an arcade machine if anything
Mine was scratched too, which is actually kinda funny but it would geek up around the last 2 or 3 levels? Climax type of stuff but end of the game for sure

Pac-Man World 3 looks fun!
When I first played this game, I was very confused to not only hear Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man with full voice acting for the first time, but also listen to how deep and mature their voices are. They'd fit right in any Kirby title, being cutesy, cheerful blobs and all, so I was thinking Mr. and Ms. Pac-Man would have super high and childish voices. Yet, he sounds like a dorky college student, and she sounds like a sitcom soccer mom. And, you know what?
I absolutely loved it!
Plus, let me be fair. Meta Knight is also a short, stumpy ball with limbs, yet his voice is deep and menacing, like a Batman villain.
I imagine Pac Man sounding like he sounds in the "Here comes pacman"

This was definitely a good game, sadly I've only made it up to the first 3 levels being I was so young at the time! And also couldn't save the game because the memory card wasn't working I guess it got corrupted or something!

Y’know I don’t really blame you for loving pac man world 3
The story is darker. And does have a great fitting looks to it.
And was made by the same guys that did Taz Wanted, SB Creature from the Krusty krab and Anlantis squarepantis as well as FOP Breakin Da Rules and Shadow Showdown, Fusion Frenzy, Chicken run…..and somehow a bunch of other games to.
Plus, there's the voice acting, especially Pac-Man's. That won me over so much that, despite the gameplay flaws, I finished this game over and over. Pac-Man's personality in this game falls in line with Toru Iwatani's vision of Pac-Man as a man-child. He definitely sounds like a guy in his mid to late 20s, yet he has this really campy, cheerful, boy scout demeanor that's quite endearing. He sounds so earnest. That optimism keeps Orson's spirits up, too, as shit hits the fan.
Anyway, I should expect that kind of voiceover performance from a VA who also portrayed Thomas the Tank Engine.
If they ever give Pac-Man a speaking voice again, namco's gotta get Martin Sherman again.

While I totally agree this game has it's flaws, I greatly respect the devs for pushing the series outside of it's comfort zone and doing something unique with it. There's no other Pac game quite like this one, and I'll always admire those sorts of efforts, even if they don't end very well.

When I played this back on my PSP, I don't remember the distortion and wavy effects when you play as Pinky and Clyde(who is really Blinky)

Man, for me this is the typical game where basically compared to his other previous games, in terms of mechanics, gameplay, story mode, mainly graphics and physics and almost everything in general and looking from a technical side, he is the best of the 3, but in return it lost all its essence, because if we compare the 3 games, basically the first game is a classic and the beginning of everything, it has more successes than defects, the second game is like the first but much better , like a remake, it took everything good from the first one and improved it and reduced some errors too, but the third one seems to be a completely new and different game but with the name of the franchise, but it's not that it's bad, because it's good hell, but it doesn't have the same vibe as the previous 2, it doesn't have the essence, it looks like another game. But for me, the third one is the best, not only technically, but also in terms of my taste, I prefer it a lot more than the other 2 previous ones, but I understand people who don't like it hahaha

I never actually made a ton of progress on this game. My only strongest memory about this game is the opening cutscene and the first level. I was very young but I played this level over and over and over again without actually knowing what was happening. I'd get to the top of the green gooey chemical waste-like level and the game just crashes there. I only found out my Playstation 2 disc was scratched so maybe thats why I couldn't progress any further. needless to say this game was a bit nostalgic revisiting through this video

Cara pra mim esse e o tipico jogo onde basicamente comparado aos outros jogos anteriores dele, em questão de mecanica, gameplay, modo historia, principalmente graficos e fisica e quase tudo em geral e olhando por um lado tecnico, ele é o melhor dos 3, mas em troca ele perdeu toda a sua essência, pq se formos comparar os 3 jogos, basicamente o primeiro jogo e um classico e o começo de tudo, tem mais acertos do que defeitos, ja o segundo jogo é tipo o primeiro so que mt melhor, tipo um remake, pegou tudo de bom do primeiro e melhorou e reduziu alguns erros tambem, mas ja o terceiro parece ser um jogo completamente novo e diferente mas com o nome da franquia, mas n é que ele seja ruim, pq ele e bom pra caramba, mas ele n tem a mesma vibe dos 2 anteriores, n tem a essência, parece outro jogo. Mas por mim, o terceiro e o melhor, n so de forma tecnica, mas tambem como um gosto meu, eu prefiro mt mais ele do que os outros 2 anteriores, mas entendo as pessoas que não gostam kkkk

@Jordan James Productions yeah in my opinion, remastered versions of all 3 of the Pacman World games should be made for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X. Who knows, maybe someday that will happen on a future console. And if we're lucky, there might even be a Pacman World 4. MIGHT! I think that'd be fun.
