Hi, what’s the thickness of wood have been used ?
3mm thick MDF
This is not working for me.
- The magnet is not strong enough to hold the flap down, and I've followed all the steps and purchased the same magnetic clasps.
- The leather on the inside billows out when the wood bends, at all the curves. I've glued and cut in all the same places as you.
- This size seems to be challenging for the wood material I am using. The wood is breaking a little at the curves. What material are you using? I am using birch ply 8th inch,
Any direction or help would be appreciated. I would really like for this to work....

He appears to be using a wood laminated MDF, which is much more pliable than wood. I think even a solid wood panel of 1/8" would be better than plywood for this application. If you try again, i would suggest balsa project panels.

@@koalaboala2906 ukucaj te na Google glue with spray activator ima dosta proizvođača.
Ima ga u svakom većem centru sa bojama i ljepilima.

It's most likely Cyanoacrylate glue (CA glue, Super Glue, Krazy Glue) and the spray is an accelerator. Titebond sells them together. All the accelerator does is speed up the dry time, so it's not mandatory.
