This is crazy beautiful!! I enjoyed watching you so much. This is the type of clay art I do as well. Did you use air dryclay? I don't like air dry because it dries before the perfectionist in me is done.lol do you have a video for jyst the cottage? And do you have a break down of bake times? Also did you you resin or a piece of mirror or glass for the pond?😀😍😍😍🙋👏👏👍
Thanks so much for your kind comments, Tracy! I use polymer clay because it stays soft and workable until it's baked. It can be baked multiple times, so I cure my pieces in stages. Air dry clay is fun for some things, but I prefer polymer because it stays soft indefinitely! :) I don't have a tutorial for this particular cottage, but I baked it a few times before adding it to the raw clay landscape. Then I bake the whole thing a final time. I like using mirrors as ponds. I'm actually experimenting with resin on the tops of the "water" but haven't quite figured out the best way yet. Sometimes I add a few strokes of blue and white paint on top of the mirror as "waves" and cover it all with a thin layer of liquid clay to give a nice effect. :)
I love love your work, do you have a picture in your mind what u want it to look like or do you build up as you go.i. a newbie with clay and i never know what the end product will look like xxx
This is soooo cute! I LOVE it! I love the Little Rock chimney and the way you layered the bushes/flowers with different shades of color. And I love the little mirror pond. I love it all. Where did u get mirrors that small?
I love making little fairy landscapes too but I hardly ever show them cause I am never happy with my trees. I love trees and woods but I just can't make them. Have seen your work on Instagram and love it so much
Thank you so much! As long as you're enjoying yourself when you play with clay that's all that matters! Keep practicing and experimenting and you'll be sharing your masterpieces soon! :)
You make such beautiful items!! Do you offer online classes? I know you sell on Etsy but would love to be able to make for my own use. Inspiring to have such an artist that is willing to share talent.
You didn't say when to bake the house. Not sure about putting the piece in the oven to bake and which stage it's baked at. Very creative want to make one myself now.
Wow! Your patience and attention to details are amazing 😉

@@wishingwellworkshop8130 Thank you. I share a lot , just not anything with trees :D
Okay. Did you bake that after the trees? I did not know you could bake crazy glue?
Just read some comments and found the answer?
Oh, superglue is just fine and quite strong! ;) Yes, I bake my components separately then cure everything together at the end :)
How do you make the cottage?
I didn't film that part, but I made it in sections, baked it, then pieced it together and baked it again. Then I added it to the landscape. :)
What is that multi needle tool
I made it up! I just jammed some needles (toothpicks are great, too) into some scrap clay and baked it. Instant texture tool! :)
Did you bake with the trees on?
Yep!
Beautiful! Are those purchased miniature trees? They are a nice finishing touch.
Thanks Sandy! The trees are model railroad materials mixed with liquid clay so they stay the shape I want. :)
Wishing Well Workshop Ah, that makes sense, I thought they looked like model miniatures but not quite like them. Nice work!

I baked the house before I created the landscape. Polymer clay can be baked multiple times. :)
Woooww😍
This is awesome, I subbed.
Thank you! :)
