- I did NOT make this video... I found it on Google Video (when they still allowed downloads at the very beginning) and uploaded it here. My husband was in the Navy and while he was deployed, watching this video made me smile so I wanted to share the video that I had found.
This is a spoof of Numa Numa as DONE BY THE CREW OF THE USS ENTERPRISE.
Once again... I DID NOT MAKE THIS VIDEO. I do not claim any ownership or rights to this video.

This was back in 06 and no they didnt like that fact that we filmed in our spaces but we didn't get into any trouble.

Im the guy at the :50 second time stamp. We had a blast filming this. a couple of guys from my division went all over fiming us dancing and singing. One of my favorite memories from the NIMITZ

16 years ago, in middle school, I hijacked our network, and broadcasted this to every TV in school. They made the password the school team name. Thanks for everythihg.

I’ve been watching this for years upon years upon years, my dad was in the Navy and I loved watching this while he was away when I was younger
Coming back during COVID 2020 for the nostalgia. Back when the internet was fun
I was on the Big E during this deployment. The Combat Systems guys were dorks haha (I was an Airdale, we’re the badasses, duh lol) but they did a nice job with this vid and it’ll always take me back to this time!

I watched a lot of these Numa Numa videos back in the early days of RUclips. Now seeing this years later and in the Navy myself as an ET3, it makes me happy. I want to do the same thing when I get to my ship.
This was when the Navy was fun.
Oh, come on -- I know our uniforms have gone straight into the shitter, and the deployment rotation has gotten increasingly ridiculous, but this wasn't THAT long ago, and cats still get up to shit like this.

bruce crump Yes, there are definite similarities - there always were - but that's because the whole point of them was simple functionality. Navy uniforms have - since the industrial revolution - always reflected what trade laborers wore. The problem with the utilities was that they were trying to make them too pretty - I'm sorry "professional" - looking, as opposed to the simple working clothes that the real dungarees had always been. They should just have gone back in that direction, and gone back to the cotton/hemp blend that made the originals wear so well and be naturally flame resistant. Also, they were so much lighter and cooler to wear -- even the "utilities" version.

one the best!Being USN and a carrier sailor and medical person, I love this version probably best as it brings back memories that WE sailed the oceans to serve and protect, and in my day, no girls on board I am happy that they are allowed to serve in any capacity that they can master! GO NAVY

Imma be honest, I was prolly about 7 yrs old when I seen this. My dad shown me this from the trend at the time, the first clip of the puppeteer mouth moving kinda scared me, but looking back at this video many many years later? I feel the nostalgia, it bring me back to home. Thank you for the memories, it's amazing.

Really, really sorry to hear about what happened to Michael Missimer....this video is one of my favourite "feel-good" video/songs and goes some way to restore my faith in humanity....best wishes to the crew members of the Enterprise who took part in the video too and who clearly enjoyed a laugh as much as Michael did. Well done guys.
My husband and I both watched this when we were in NJROTC! We still listen to it now.
My son has been in the US Navy for the past nine years. He showed me this video a few years ago, and ever since then, I've been reassured that he's serving with a bunch of very creative guys who don't mind laughing at themselves and have maintained their wonderful personalities while out at sea protecting the rest of us. This video makes me smile!

Enlisted in the Navy as a Submariner and I’m leaving for boot camp pretty soon. Very cool and inspiring stuff seeing these older guys make vids back in those days while the wars were going on tbh

Officers aside, with the only separation being a degree and an oportunity, it was times like these that kept us sane in the Navy, let alone a ship. You look at this video and think that it was always this great. It helps you forget how acctually lifeless it was, draining and challenging. In the end, you come out a champion, overcoming so much crap and learning life. Nothing will ever be as difficult. If you can master service in the military, you can do anything!
I LOVE this video, it's my FAV numa numa one, and when I am feeling a bit down I always play it because even know these guys are away from their families they are still showing that they are keeping their spirits up! I wish I had their email or snail mail addys so I could let them all know personally!

This was released several years ago, and after all that time the creator of this film was put under investigation for "Leaking classified information" threw this video. Only because he films a scene in an area he shouldn't have.

I am so glad that these hard working people are able to have some fun. It MUST be so stressful to be in combat and dangerous situations that I am happy that they find something to laugh and have fun with.
The first time I watched this video what is 15 years ago before I ever thought about joining the military.
Ended up going as far as you can go into Navy OCS process before the government was shut down while I was in grad school.
I can say irrefutably that the most part of this is the Sr. NCOs pictured part of this on deck (probably not deployment) with Junior Seamen.
Being goofy is what keeps you sane during one Pacific deployments. There's a lot of good positive stuff happening here and I took it all for granted when I first saw the video.
Decide to have been a lot of fun to make for those first earning their salt. Think the Navy needs to have more stuff like this.
The Navy needs to start making dancing a part of bootcamp.
