Beautiful! I'll put this in my bucket list.
Good to hear!! You'll love it!!
Great video. Let’s all remember Indian Resevation permits are needed for day use at this lake
The spoon joke with Demi Lovato had me dead😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol, I couldn't resist saying it! 😆
Started exploring that place yesterday and I thoroughly am planned on going back to stay for a while. 🤙
Do it up man! There's so many buildings out there! Ya got the big ones up front then ya got more the further you go back! Have fun and happy exploring!
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 I will. We are already kind of planning the next trip out there. Being only an hour or so away from it really makes it easy. Do you have any idea about the cost of camping?
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 really wish I had my phantom 4 out here with me. Starting to play with video editing software excetera, proving to be very frustrating LOL
@@jayfitmob8645 unfortunately I can't say that I do. I imagine it's not much though. I would look up San Carlos reservation on the web and you should be able to find something. Also if you haven't heard of it, I would recommend checking out Cibecue falls! It's not too far from there 👍
@@jayfitmob8645 haha, I know how that goes, it just takes time. Video editing software it's mostly drag and drop on timelines, and for bonus points enhancing colors and adding slow motion! I used cyberpunk power director, but they all do the same thing!
Like your audio !!
Thanks! I go through great lengths to try to find good music to fit the mood of the video!
I was on my home from pinetop today and pulled into this place because it made me curious. Now I'm trying to learn what it is and why it's abandoned. But funny thing that same broken branch is sitting next to that picnic table as of today.
I was there today and much of the shoreline has thick over growth.
Nice! Going back in a couple days to see the progress
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 Crazy amount of little frogs all over. birds were feasting on them. Fly drone alone the shore line and watch them all jumping for cover.
It was abandoned after the San Carlos Apache Tribe took control of the area. Back in the 1970’s it was fully operational when it was privately owned. I guess the Apaches weren’t fans of tourism dollars when they took control of it. It’s the same thing they did in McNary. McNary used to be the Showlow of the white mountains in the 1960’s, until the Apaches got control of it, and they burned down the boardwalk. 😕
I just found out your channel man, we re also a young family living in az
Oh nice! I've lived here a few years now.....love it! Always something to explore!
Want to take my brother and see the abandoned Ghost Town. He likes to fish so we can do both !! Only way I can get him to drive out.
Lol, you'll have a good time! Lots to see out there!
Someone told me that water is harmful due to mining run off. Does anyone know if that’s true?
I can't attest to that
There are several old asbestos mines in the area. Maybe the reason?
Last time I was there bunch of California people were there and left a bunch of trash on the ground . Best time is in the winter.
Remember you are on the San Carlos Apache Nation. Which is where Seneca lake is located. You might want to clarify the details specifically next time. This is not state land. Permits are required here. The Southside of salt river is san carlos and the north side of the river is the white mountain apache reservation.. the salt river is our boundry line between both Rez's. There is plenty more to see out here... lots still that you do not know of. But better kept that way so out of towners dont come and start ruining the land as usual.
Appreciate the info! Definitely don't mean any harm. I'll post an update in the description of the video 👍
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 didnt mean to come off disrespectful towards you or any others it is just that sometimes a little more information is needed so that others can come & enjoy without any problems. Great vid btw...
It's all good. Completely understandable, at the end of the day, I just really wanted to capture the the beauty these landscapes have to offer! So majestic!
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 the salt river canyon also has a lot of hidden vistas to enjoy... do you know about Cibeque falls? You might enjoy a hike to see the beauty of that huge waterfall.. about a 30-45 min hike but it is well worth it in the end.
@@hostilesavage4299 definitely heard about it and seen many pictures! Haven't been there yet but I'm hoping to make it out there soon! It looks quite stunning!
