Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed! I know I had a lot of questions about this place before I came here and I figured a lot of other adventure goers did as well, figured I'd put together a video answering as many as I could! Cibecue it's a treasure! Happy adventuring!!
Excellent video. Expert drone piloting. Great footage. Good trail and logistics explanations. Very fun to live vicariously through that walk through. Thanks.
Great video! Thank you for mentioning the self-pay station wasn't available, I'm going this weekend, and was hoping to pay there, but good to know that's not an option. Fee is 45$ a pass per person now, pretty steep since not much is put into maintenance it sounds, but looks like a great destination hike nonetheless.
Ahh it's $45 now.... definitely didn't know that. In my opinion I think raising the cost kind of helps deter some tourists and keeps foot traffic down a little bit. Might sound like a bad thing but then again look at grand falls....too many tourists "amongst other things" and now its temporarily closed. But none the less cibecue is a Gem!! You'll have a blast.....thanks for checking out the video and happy hiking 👍
Almost the same for me, I lived in AZ for quite a while and heard people talking about it, and then I looked it up and I immediately knew I had to go check it out!
We are Canadians and are planning a trip to Arizona in late April and we have just added this hike to our itinerary, thanks to this great video. We're just wondering whether the river is still running in the spring or if it dries up in the heat?
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video! This one usually does flow all year round, and if your going in April I know it will still be flowing, they do get a little snowfall up in that area " but it doesn't stick around that long" it melts and adds to the flow of the water, so your sure to see it flowing at full force....and in late April it's perfect hiking weather!
yes! exactly! walk along the water the entire way and it will take you directly to it, probs gonna have to cross the water a few times, so prepare for that, otherwise its an amazing hike!
So the gas station is 28 miles north east of the trailhead? And no way to buy permits online? If coming from phoenix I’d have to drive an extra 60 miles to buy the permit?
I've been told that you can buy permits and certain sporting goods stores in phoenix. that will save you the extra drive. Just have to call around and find out which ones sell them
It really only adds like 3 more minutes of hiking if you don't have high clearance vehicle. You can see the start of the trail head once you cross the creek....so it's really close!....dogs are ok to bring with as well 👍 and if it's busy I'd recommend a leash, but use your own discretion....hope this helps 😎
I’m just amazed since I live a couple blocks from the reservation in the white mountains that we would not want to respect alllllllllllll the land that is a couple feet in front of us or couple feet behind us. It’s all God’s land and do not want to litter regardless, if it’s Indian reservation or not.!! Makes me think that we should start charging when someone enters onto our land. Lol. Lol it’s all sacred right?? if it was a couple inches one way or the other way!
As of April 2024 the permit is $45
TY!
hi! did you do this hike recently? Wonder what the water levels are like - if it is difficult to cross the creek at times or not. thank you!
@@ellenlavoie7017 did you find out wanting to go on sat
Excellent! we just returned for our adventure and it was so beautiful! Should have looked for your video before we went :) great job !!

Is this flowing year round? I'd like to go when I can actually get in the water.
This one from what I read does flow all year round.....I completely understand, water was a little chilly that day
So do you just walk along the water til you get there?
yes! exactly! walk along the water the entire way and it will take you directly to it, probs gonna have to cross the water a few times, so prepare for that, otherwise its an amazing hike!
