- Hey guys! Today I'm Showing you how I replaced the dash lights with LED in my Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. Super easy to do! and it is budget friendly! This completely changed how the dash looked from the old Dull green to a Modern light blue! Looks amazing!

Hey Najar! I just replaced my dash light with the kit. The lights look great! I do have a slight problem… now the gauge lights won’t turn off when and stay on even after the car is off. Any idea what might be causing this?

press and hold the trip button and turn the key and all the warning lights will light up that's what I did when I did my led blubs

So I have a 2003 Jeep grand Cherokee and every time to turn the nob on the left side it brightens my dash lights but it also turns on my dome light. I cant figure out how to get it so just the dash light brighten without turning on my dome lights. Any suggestions?

what u mean flip them u mean take bulb out and jus turn it then put back in if they dont turn on?
That's actually how LEDs work if they don't work one way just turn them the opposite way

Hello thanks for the video. I did the all process but now i don't have the indicator lights like check engine, gas light, key light, off road light. Do you know something about it?
Try flipping them around or bending the tabs on the bulb holder

I read the warning lights are different abs, check engine etc? Is this not the case. What happened to your abs light issue did you change out?
No they are the same bulbs. The kits I sell include white bulbs for the warning lights that go around the speedos to keep the stock look along with colored lights for the speedo to change the color of those only
Hey if you have 4 extra bulbs you can change the climate control module bulbs
It takes the same bulbs

I believe you have the manual but the automatic climate control has different bulbs which won't work sadly

Hello! My light kit from You is gonna arrive today!! I already pulled the cluster from my 99 WJ... It has a LOT more places for lights ... And some have no holder for them. Does that indicate there is no need for them?? Thanks for the video and the bulbs!!
Yes! There also might be some holders without bulbs. I recommend recording your dash when you turn the key one so you can see every light that turns on and once you install the leds you can see if you put one in backwards

Canbus systems, make switching to LED really hard
I recently replaced my lights but some still don’t work. I didn’t use the stock T5 sockets but instead I used the ones that came with the new lights.
I flipped the socket and nothing, flipped the bulb itself and nothing either. Some kind of worked with the old bulb but i wanted to replace all of them. Any suggestions?
Btw they’re not the brand you used. I’m about to get the ones you have

I ordered some red cluster lights and it was a 20 pack but they only sent 15 😒

Where did you get your headlights
I installed the kit, the only issue I have is that the ABS lamp stays on but very dim. With the original incandescent lamp, it's not illuminated, as I don't have an ABS issue. With the led lamp, it illuminates brightly when the ignition is turned on, then dims but stays on. Anyone else have this issue?
Okay i actually watched all the way through. You need to figure out why your led doesn't jive with the abs circuit and get include an led that works properly

@@mikehunt874 no. And it shows it in his video too. When I contacted him to explain the issue, it was like talking to a brick wall. He could not comprehend what i was saying, and couldn't remember himself having the same issue in his own video. The guy is a moron. I just left the factory incandescent lamp in for the abs

my zj has this done by the previous owner, however they used cheap amazon leds and know my gauge cluster looks like im having a rave and sometimes they dont even work.....hope u didnt get the same leds.....oh damn after watching the video...they are they same company....

@@NajarOffroad my bulbs are 920's so hopefully with yours being t's they wont have the same issue. for me it was heat that eventually caused it to start so again hopefully with the better T style bulb it will be better

I've changed my dash lights over to LED. They do look amazing. But, my LED turn signals don't work? Can you help me?
Best bet is the bulbs are in backwards. Try switching the bulbs around since they polarity sensitive
I had the same issue . I just re used the original bulbs in those positions. That's the only way it would work for me, after flipping the LEDs and bending the connectors.
I had bought these before watching the video, but I put all of them in and it blew a fuse or something and a couple spots started smoking....Then it made the dash lights come on when I had them switched off...so when I plugged the harness in they automatically came on. I literally don't know wtf i did wrong. I did exactly what you did in the video.
Long story short I think I shorted out my dash cluster and now its fucked. Gauges and all that are fine but all the lights are screwed up. So i took all the bulbs out so it doesnt stay on and I just wont drive at night til i get it fixed or something idk...
Yea sounds like you got a short somewhere hmm I wonder where the short came from 🤔

Yes you can dim them with the dimmer switch on your turn signal

Why would you spend the money on Chinese led lights for the instrument cluster when you could have gotten the factory white face gages with the killer factory lighting, that is way cooler and totally different than a shxt led "upgrade".
Yup you are right. Let me go back in time and tell the dealership to add it! Or I can put on the gauges from another WJ and have the mileage off🤷♂️
