1:32 All the genuine and passionate talent in this fandom, the amount of time and effort furry artists put into their work and the many detailed styles/designs to choose from, and you choose to use “AI generated” furry art. That’s honestly what hurts the most to me.
I think It’s very telling that you can almost immediately tell its AI generated without even LOOKING for the discrepancies.
It's indicative to how little they know or care about the fandom.
For what it's worth, I doubt you will find many who would be willing to do the artwork for this kind of convention.

Went there because my friend wanted to be accompanied. Con was laughable, seen more raccoon con attendees in a dumpster at my last job. On the one hand, I'm not surprised a con like this would promote AI art, I mean last year there was a panel for bitcoin, I think. But on the other hand, like you just said: THE GUESTS OF HONOR AND THE CON CHAOR ARE ARTISTS! Like, using AI art for promotional material is just lazy! Most conservatives just prefer tradition but don’t want to bring back the discriminatory practices of the past nor establish an authoritarian regime. Hell, many conservatives today are part of groups that were discriminated in the past. It’s practically a very similar situation to the difference between a furry and a zoophile.
And what metric are you using to determine conservative and liberal here? If you count people who are more anti-government, everyone deserves basic rights, that’s more libertarian than liberal.

I made the mistake of showing interest in this con when it was first announced. I wasn't in a great headspace at the time and thought all the furry drama was awful and that a con that wasn't going to pander to that would be good. BOY WAS I WRONG.
Can't fathom why nobody wants to attend an event where literal nazis are welcome /s. So glad I didn't attend and/or associate myself with that. My mental state was terrible then, and I can only imagine how much more that would have hurt, especially in the long run.

Y’know, making an entire con based around it being apolitical kind of already makes it political when like 95% of other cons have nothing to do with politics.
There’s already a lot of conservative and libertarian furries in the fandom, which isn’t a bad thing since any and all communities need some form of ideological diversity, but, in my opinion, the people who make generalized statements about the entire other side of the political spectrum (like when SonicFox said republicans hate gay people, black people, and furries when there are gays, blacks, and furries that are republican, or any conservative that can’t tell the difference between people who want LGBT rights from the people trying to teach kids about sexuality in an inappropriate manner (Matt Walsh)) or people that just have abhorrent ideologies with an objective history of atrocities like fascists and communists are the types that do not belong to any community. Both said groups are like zoophiles and Antifurs (hell, two prominent Marxist content creators on RUclips made statements that were almost pro-zoophilic, Zoophiles often call anybody that rightfully calls them out as anti-LGBT bigots, even if the accusers are LGBT themselves, and antifurs tend to have a weird kink towards the third Reich or the Bolshevik party), you can convince some to change over time which is preferable, or they must be removed, not censored or cancelled because that only entrenches their beliefs as they go somewhere else, but dealt with in some other way.
The fandom should be more centrist/libertarian, it makes the most sense (basic agreeable rights for everyone and a capitalist economy based on art commissions and fursuits), and this con was kind of a failure In whatever it was trying to achieve.
My solution: eliminate everyone involved and destroy all evidence of this con happening, it’s one of the more sensible things Hitler or Stalin would do. UwU👍
