Meet Danny O'Connor

As a professional Danny O'Connor has begun to work his way up the ranks, fostering his ability, and building a fan base throughout the country. He is also very proud that he has had the good fortune of competing in four New England states. However, recently dispirited about the pace of his ascent though the division, O'Connor made some difficult decisions to help him realize his dream of becoming world champion. First and foremost, he made the strenuous decision to be away from the love of his life Diane and their infant son Liam to train under the tutelage of renowned trainer Ronnie Shields in Houston, Texas. Shields provides world championship experience as both a fighter and trainer that could not be replicated in Massachusetts. O'Connor firmly believes the intangibles he learned back home combined with the unique teachings in Houston will make him well prepared for a championship run in 2012.
