I dont understand the massive hate. It looks like it has some techincal issues and a bit basic but i dont mind a fun open world game thats a bit dated. If its watchdogs meet star wars it will be somewhat fun. Im not a fan of the character design but i like giant open world games with fun unloackables. Is their momentum or empty space. Is the open world fun to navigate or slog to travrl. The answers to these questions will be the difference of 6/10 to 9/10. Im guessing it will be 7.

Ubisoft is the publisher. Are we going to hate on the studio that created the Avatar game, the Division 1 and 2, not to mention FAR CRY 3?
And what’s more, when you boycott these studios, it’s not Ubisoft who suffers, it’s the devs themselves. If Massive Entertainment don’t pull through with this game, Ubisoft simply axes them and dissolves the studio, and those people all lose their jobs. I don’t think people realise how boycotting Ubisoft works.
First of all EA is the publisher.Respawn did Fallen Order and Survivor both very good games. Massive Entertainment did this one which also made the TC Division games which were more than decent. There is potential but more dev work is needed with those speeders. The takedowns didn't look great. Division was beautifully done so hope the same dev team is working on this.
Instead of forcing you a character they should let you make your own, this simple thing would sell the game much better but hey..its 2024 so this is normal..business as always.

Only problem was that Rockstar abandoned it for GTA V online and the grinding was a bit too much.I liked Arthur, but the game would still work if you made your character and join the gang or anyother gang you want.

A couple of locations we already knew we would visit, the fact that Kay stole her ship, and that it remains to be seen whether or not the limited customization options make any practical difference... I can see how these are things I "Need To Know BEFORE" making a purchasing decision.
NMS was a huge fist job at launch. Took them forever to work on it again. And the graphics are cartoony, even now, after 500 patches. Great realistic graphics can hinder performance. Hopefully some day PC limits will give us the best of both.

That, alongside how half the enemies shown in this gameplay are glitching out or acting lobotomized makes this game a big pass. Not to mention the egregious pricing

I've been watching hands on impression videos this morning, and this is DEFINITELY a wait for a deep discount game. If it wasn't set in the Star Wars universe, I'd be skipping it entirely. It's a shame because the premise had me intrigued, but Ubisoft appears to have dropped the ball on this one.
