Totally agree with your words my friend. Siberiano did two things. One is good and one is bad. The one is good is the fact he push everybody to grove own discipline to achieve a personal goal. But the opposite side of the coin is the fact that looking is technique create a kind of depression in “normal” other drummer. At the end RUclips social is in change era. And also I personal think that early this big success of siberiano is close to have a break down. This is a long discussion and reason behind this mine opinion.
Anyway you catch the point with your words.

Thanks Walter! You don't know how much this means to me, hearing your opinion on this topic. This video took me a while to publish because I wanted to do some research first before sharing my thoughts & findings.
I totally agree with you that El Estepario reinvented the wheel indeed but the side effects of that reinvention, sadly normalized what drumming is now set to look like and be all about.
Especially in the eyes of a lot of newer drummers, audiences and in the social media world who might not have been familiar with other greats who came before him.
I personally think that awakening has already begun though, I'm not saying that El Estepario's drumming has finally reached a boring point. People are slowly starting to get the message and want better for themselves even though wanting better does not guarantee quick gratification. It's one thing to be a fan but how can you use your fandom to better your own skills & self in the process?
Hopefully what I'm saying makes sense, thanks again for the comment 🙏🏾
