Yea, good luck. These people aren't accountable in any big way. Too busy answering complaints involving roughing up or molesting people to worry about property abuse.
I feel you Geoff... I once almost missed my flight because a TSA agent at the Precheck line saw the slabs/raw cards in my luggage and started going through them one by one (and flipping some over to look at the back). I kept saying "ma'am, I am missing my flight!" but she just kept going until she went thru the dozens of cards I had.
Geoff I feel your pain, man! This is exactly why I don’t send anything valuable through TSA and airline cargo handling. It’s like they have a sixth sense of what stuff is valuable and they try their best to ruin it. Every time I’ve taken something valuable on a flight (no matter how fragile or sturdy) they find a way to damage it. But cheap, inexpensive stuff gets through okay. Just mind boggling! If that had been a box of cheap drinking glasses you bought from Walmart they would’ve handled it like a baby. At least with USPS/FedEx/UPS you have better than a 50/50 chance of getting it back perfectly fine. TSA/airlines will abuse your valuables every time!
At what point do you consider to turn around and leave to go to fedex, ship overnight and buy another plane ticket? Is this your first time flying with cards Geoff?
