Love you touched on the sacred Garments; I will share a portion of my testimony of wearing them. In my world, and the journey I’m on, the wickedness and evil I’m surrounded by, enters a zone of peace when these souls are in my “circle”. So for as long as some of these struggling souls give me the time of day, they too get a bit of ministering in addition to a message I can give them.

I should also add, God bless you Dr. Anderson as you continue to grieve the loss of your beloved husband. I wish I could subscribe on Patreon, but I'm just one of those sort of poor people - I also have enough, and the Lord blesses me and my family, but not much extra. Thank you for making your podcast available to all of us, rich and poor.

Dear Sister Anderson, I pray that the pain of your separation from Chris will ease, and that the Lord will lift you up on eagle wings and that peace and joy will be again bountiful in your life.

Just remember that there's a big difference between shame at the judgment and what's called "toxic shame". Toxic shame doesn't lead to repentance. It's something that's forced upon people; for example, with my PTSD, I was ashamed of who I was from a very early age. I hated myself, and wished that I were dead. The wonderful godly sorrow that the Lord's helps me feel for my sin that leads to repentance is so much different than shame that's directed at a child - you are stupid, or you are so bad you deserve to be punished severely for things you are too young to know are wrong. We want to bring people to the kind of sorrow and guilt that leads to repentance for our actions, not shame about who we are. The Lord very kindly lets me know that I can do better, and never calls me a sinner or a bad person. I love His message, "There's always room for improvement. Keep trying."
