@@nothanksfools exactly, like maybe it can be kinda fun at first but thag gets boring so fast like not even a minute in. Haha. Thankfully the creator of PSLAN has said they have an anti cheat ready and won’t reveal how it works.

It essentially gives the modder / hacker acsess too your games data base and your saved data and anyone with an open lobby can and does send modded payloads that currupts your games even completely making games disappear,
There have been many reports of this but the owner of pslan silences anyone that speaks up about the vunribility by banning them,
This application needs you to open port forwarding too , so not only can your console be damaged by malisous payloads but they also want you to give them direct acsess to there server,
interesting, can anyone else reading this confirm it too?
@Crcvmbdfl it is well known that hackers on pslan can whip your game data base deleting games and also instantly currupts your saved data , why do you think after 2 months there is still only a handful of players ? Especially as the set up is nothing more than installing an app

@Crcvmbdfl the vunribility I'd essentially how pslan works , and hackers can when you enter there modded lobby send payloads too your console without your knollage that currupts / deletes your games and instantly currupts your game data , they are all fully aware of these
GTA Online PSLan would be cool if they did something like what RPCS3 has done
GTA Online does not have LAN option so they can't really do anything on it. RPCS3 worked on an older patch that had like sort of an online mode stored on the hard drive which made it possible, but it hasn't been found on the ps4 so I don't think there's hope for its existance

As long as the games have Lan play then it will be supported. They seem to update stuff pretty quickly

Lee, I don't play online these days, used to play Action Quake (I think that was it's name) but got bored with the cheat bots. But, I always find your tutorials excellent as every little detail is supplied..Great work...May even have a wee go at those games online :)

@frizedgames1104 I think so I just re jailbroke my ps4 with with the latest gold hen and ps4 debug. I think the new debug is like 1.1.16 or something. But I used to have my ps4 setup to do the auto jailbreak that does not require you to plug in a usb everytime using a esp32 kinda device. But I think the software on it was out of date, and couldn't find a updated version for the auto jailbreak. So I am once again doing the old way of using a usb and going to a host. Also I use bo6-editor on My pc to host a local game and pslan to find it on my ps4. And it all works now. For bo6 anyway lol, haven't tried any other games with pslan. Also I am using fw 9.00 for this. Hope this helps.
How are people running mods on these games online? There are so many modders in BO3. We should be looking there.
It could be because of unpatched RCEs that the game has. Perhaps instead of injecting them through the console they do it through the DW server

I am on PS5 8.40 which isn't 8.20 in which the flows possible discoveries might lead to a kernal exploit but it does support the most recent webkit userland exploit. I feel like I am in purgatory.
Just be patient, I awaited almost 2 years without updating the Ps4 and it paid off

Yes, because the service is provided by PSLAN which works only with PS4 JB. With xlink Kai you can also join with standard ps4 console. The service xlink Kai can be handle over pc or raspberry pi

This just proves Sony PlayStation or Xbox shouldn't be charging people to play online, it's just money making cash cow for them, there are no need for paid servers needed, it can entitely be done on your own computers

Don’t update the lower the firmware the better. There was recently an exploit found that affects 11.02 no jailbreak will come of it anytime soon but it has been patched on 11.50

Can’t even find any matches ever even when it shows several people playing black ops 3. All the messages pop up saying registered as client console and all that but I can’t find a single damn match. This setup requires port forwarding so any ISP that is behind CGNAT will likely not be able to use this abd just stuck with hamachi instead since that once can overcome CGNAT.

not possible, there is a way however if u had like a previous save of the firmware or something not sure exactly what it was but it's a very rare occurrence. The only other way would be to open up your playstation but you'd have to know how to solder stuff with the hardware, it's extremely complicated I have no idea how to do it but there are many video tutorials
