The Perfect Anime Episode

- The Starry Sky Bakemonogatari episode is, in my opinion, a perfect anime episode. The standalone story of Senjougahara and Araragi's first date tells a subtle character story that starts out as largely playful and ends with a new understanding of one of the most popular waifus in all of anime. The Monogatari series always has strong character moments, but this episode stands out as a triumph even within this famous series.

What is your favorite single anime episode? Let me know what you think, and don't forget to subscribe!
I'd say either Steins;Gate Ep 1 or Steins;Gate 0 Ep 8.
Both episodes are god tier.
Please come back
From everything I've seen so far my favorite anime episode has to be ep 22 from 86: Eighty Six.
I'm very excited for what more the Monogatari Series has to offer. (only finished bake and kizu so far)
Glad to see you back. Master I require donuts.
This ep is my fav too, mainly cuz I love Senjougahara, but it's genuinely amazingly written.
Actually my favorite episode in all of monogatari. It just hits different. Especially when I noticed that the lyrics from the ending song were actually included in the script (or was it the other way around idk). And then when the ending song started playing... Damn, it hit hard. Kimi no shiranai monogatari is my favorite ending song of all time and the reason is because of this scene. What a masterpiece the monogatari series is.
Please come back
I would say one of the best anime episodes would have to include Clannad: After Story, I believe it was ep 17 or 18, the one with Tomoya and Ushio going on a trip. The series has a lot of great episodes but this the most remarkable. An absolute tearjerker.
Edit: it was episode 18
That part of After Story was the first time I cried watching an anime and the hardest I've cried over any media. Absolutely agree, they're fantastic episodes.
That scene destroyed me
Excellent video, Spoons. My favorite little touch is how the ED thats been playing after every episode is woven in, the story context finally revealed.
Goddam what a gem of a channel
Another banger of a video. Glad to see more content. As for a favorite, I'd probably pick the last episode in Michiru's mini-arc at the beginning of Fruits of Grisaia. Not only did it hit some relatable notes, but it really kicks off the show's story in a "car crash I can't stop watching" kind of way; which really sets the tone for the whole show.
this is a wonderful tribute to my favorite episode of all time :)
I think last episodes are kinda obvious and maybe are theyre own thing so aside from those I would say my favorite episodes are parent and child from rezero and episode 7 of violet evergarten. Both of these were really beautiful self contained stories and are also some of my favorite moments in anime
Keep up the great work spoons! these videos are so high quality and your content is always so entertaining so I just wanted to thank you for all the effort!
gosh, you hit the nail, and it is in fact my favorite episode of monogatari, so I don't think I can come up with a different one. anywho, nive video : )
This is my favorite fucking episode of my favorite anime. This was the episode that solidified the fact that I was going to watch the rest of the anime which thankfully I did and now it's my favorite. Appreciate the monogatari love my guy 💙💙
It’s been four months, don’t know what happened. It might be that you read through the entirety of the brick bible
Such an amazing video, feel this episode is kind of ignored. Specially while trying to give a negative comment about senjougahara. There is certain things that really change your view towards her. Althrought I feel they aren't the best couple. Both have a good relationship in certain ways. Ignoring both of their personalities of course. I feel the fandom, or rather hanekawa stands. Never think objectively, they always point out senjougahara's personality. But never mention a single positive things. Like this episode...
And he’s back! Brilliant video, loved this episode honestly and you managed to break it down brilliantly
Hey first time I see a video of your channel. I had a really great time listening to you talking about this episode. Monogatari series is by far my favourite piece of art all mediums included. And this episode is indeed also one of my fav of this serie. Thanks for your work and for sharing it in YT !
Finally, more spoons
Senjougahara best girl in all of anime
This would actually be my pick, but my second choice would most likely be March comes in like a lion season 1, don't remember the number of the episode, but the one where Rei has the outburst of emotions in a park after running after the shogi competitor he just beat and giving him a christmas present he forgot. It was just the perfect encapsulation of his emotions boiling up the surface up to that point and no surprises considering Shaft was also be behind such a beautifully orchestrated show.
It's episode 10 and I absolutely agree
This is great content - subbed!
gonna sort of cheat here by saying paradox spiral because even though it's movie length it's still part of a larger series. if forced for episode length , easily the finale of yorimoi
I'm a bit late lol but I've been waiting for a new vid for ages lessgoooo
great monogatari content!!!
MARK IS BACK! YOOOOOOOOOOO
Personally, Attack on Titan's first episode in particular will always be something special to me
I loved that episode.
Respect
Can anyone tell me the background music going on around 5:09? Please

Such a shame they showed the father's face in the manga. Feel it kind of ruined the mystery, Or atleast I felt it that way.
How’s the gaming company going
The first release went well! I'm someone who likes to have a lot of projects going, so making a game was a really fun rabbit hole to go down.
