If it weren’t for Ticketmaster gouging prices, I’m certain Buckethead would be charging $15 at the door. I’ve seen him twice and I prefer his shows to any arena act out there.
Buckethead opened up for Primus at my first concert in '99. I was not prepared.
If it was at the Palladium, I was there too... bought Monsters & Robots the next day
Man, what a way to lose your virginity. 😮
I was there too! Great show all around.
Ozzfest '99.
@zeuskingofallgods. I was at that show too. First show I ever went too.
Serj sounds like an AI trying to imitate Serj
I'm sure it is
Hes reading...
@@jimlong8077 It's AI he's not actually reading it
The video description says it's a section from his 10 hour long audiobook
I don't like that this is a thing that we have to think about now.
"Let me make a record for you. I can have it done before dinner."
"Here's this 30 minute song I made in 5 minutes"
It would be a real winner, then have a chicken dinner!
yikes
Buckethead should never need money. I paid $50 to see him in Santa Cruz recently. I paid $300 to see Def Leppard and Motley Crue a bit ago. I would have easily paid $300 to see Buckethead and Maybe $50 to see Def Leppard. There was no comparison on how much better Buckethead show was.
I've seen him several times, once with Primus on an OzzFest...he started playing with nunchakus while robot dancing. Weird times.
@@victorcoleman949
Nothing weird about it. Happens when the toy store opens. Dude's a veteran nunchaku wizard at this point.
Saw bucket in Times Square at Sony. 25$ well spent.
Def Leppard would have to pay me $300 an hour to see their show. This isn't the 80s, and I'm no longer 10 years old. I'd pay about $30 to see BH live, since I paid $20 to see Tool in 2002.
Yeah... waste of money went see him play and he decide to play with action figures foe 30 minutes i was pissed
Just saw Buckethead 4 nights ago at the Ogden in Denver. Man, what a show!!
I was there too. I agree. You just gotta appreciate his talent.
Great he's touring. I hope he comes to Ireland.
@@carpoman Sadly he never leaves America.
Man I wish I had people who I could just call up when I was hurting and needed money and bartered an album for the pay.
As a man going through financial strife, I can appreciate and recognize the love in those actions
Our poverty. Word, brother.
👁wish Buckethead would leave a 15 minute solo @ 4am on my phone
👀🤳
Me too, but he is the featured artist on my ringtones and alarms and I can pretend.
Time to turn my answer phone back on!
@@UATU. Me too!
I know, right?
Listen to Sourced Autonomy, it's basically a 15 minute Buckethead solo... absolute madness.
Imagine playing in a Battle of the Bands at your high school and you have to compete against Buckethead 🤣
😂😂😂
Buckethead, and Serj Tankian, and Brian Mantia … I would quit the battle and just enjoy the free concert lol. I wonder if anybody posted a video if it …
I wonder if they won.
New found respect for Serj Tankian.
Yep.
I saw buckethead in Denver the other day, it was very WOO!
"The other day: ?!?!?! He's touring>?!!??
@@codyhaitch758yep...saw him the 26th of may! playin with a band and i think hes tryin to help the singer get her name out there. didnt get as much of his crazy antics, but super fun none the less!
@@codyhaitch758Yeah. Saw him on 05/21. He has solo shows coming up now soon. Will probably be touring more next year hopefully too.
@@enjoi62137 Wow that's awesome! I finally received a bunch of signed CDs from him that I bought like 2 years ago XD haha
I would love to see him but I guess he won't leave the US.
Buckethead, His music is so good. It inspired me to learn to play guitar again. Thank you, Buckethead!
He's so good it inspired me to give up the guitar
What a cool little story. I saw Buckethead in Charlottesville with my son. Definitely a different kind of concert. Never said a word, but personally handed out trinkets from a huge sack. If he would have been drunk, he would have been my uncle Frank at any family function.
I’ve seen Buckethead 4 times live, going to see him August 30th, @ Janus Live St. Petersburg Fl.
Seeing him for the first time in Saint Pete, then the second time the next night in Orlando. I literally cannot wait for this epic experience
@@musicmuse7022 right on brother. What a blast to see him perform. Puts a grin on my face from ear to ear.
Get there early and get up front near the stage and bring some sort of toy as a gift for Bucket. He digs that.
I just saw this comment at the right time. Just came back from St Pete to see Knocked Loose. I’m definitely going to try to snag some tickets for the Buckethead show
I'm in palm coast . will try to get there.
I dabble with guitar as a hobby. I also have chickens, had em my whole life. They truly are my little friends. They surround me when I go in with them for attention, and they learn faster than dogs. Interesting creatures when you really get to learn about them
Thanks Natternet,,,,Serj is also a genius.
Wellllllllll he supports socialism so while rather intelligent is also very gullible.
@@scatered1 Really? Do you have sources? I know he is anti-capitalism but never knew he was that extreme.
@@dehoedergia I'm sure you can find it somewhere, I don't remember anymore.
Pure gold. Thanks NatterNet!
Love this! It gives us a glimpse into the man himself. He’s as sweet and kind as I thought. ❤🎸🎶🥰
"We Are One" is such a great song
"If you need money I can just give you money." I wish I was friends with Serj.
Hearing serj casually name drop buckethead's real name kind of enrages my inner edgy metalhead teenager, like we didn't grow up for years on forums wondering who tf was really behind the mask, and yep, it was that guy we thought it was, it was that guy the whole time
It's no secret.
I miss it.
When ? What is it?
@@VikingKong. He is talking about the type of guy
Buckethead is a mighty, mighty guitar man. Thanks for a clip on his impact.
Thanks NN..... when are you going to bless the worlds ears with another one of your GLORIOUS songs? I have listened to Fate of the voyager & Mutant ballroom perpetually. I taught myself both songs. I turn your songs on and play along with you.... it sounds GLORIOUS! WOOOO!
Ha sweet, that sounds glooorious! And thank you, that means a lot! Next song is soooon, very soon 😉🤘
@@NatterNetI can hardly wait. Thankyou!
Serj has such a friendly, soothing voice that it just made me happy listening to him. Ironic isn't it? Lol
I saw Buckethead years ago in Jacksonville Florida at the Freebird. He killed it! Amazing show
Always nice to see the people putting on the most deranged front are actually super chill.
I sadly cannot remember how I learned about Buckethead other than dr*gs and my friends. But in the very week we learned about and watched many a video of him, we got tickets to a Buckethead concert in my home town. Completely BOMB show!!!! And the week after, 6 days actually, we also saw Rob Zombie. Same venue. Thank you House of Blues!!
Wow. "sometimes he'd call me at 4am and leave me a 15 minute guitar solo on my voicemail"
Holy crap thats funny. And exactly what I'd expect from Bucket 🤣 sounds like something I would do 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you nat for sharing this
I was 13 when the We Are One music video came out and I was enthralled, that and Jordan on Guitar Hero was my introduction to Bucket
The concert I saw of him was absolutely hypnotic of musical effect. 🐓
this was amazing thank you for sharing NN!
Buckethead has created the greatest single catalogue of genius. Ever. He will be remembered. Forever. Pure genius of all genres. Essential. If you’ve never heard him give the song “Coupon” a listen. All the best. Be kind. Always. Out lies and evil. Always.
Excellent. Thanks natter thanks serj
2:57 I love to improv like that and get the flow. best times where I was at the studio with my friend and all the different bands that would come in and I would sit in.
I have now seen buckethead twice. I’ve been to dozens of other rock/metal/hardcore shows, still rookie numbers to some…. I must admit. But nobody compares to buckethead. By far my favorite shows, Buckethead even handed me a gift last show!!!! 😅😅😅
love them sm. they are huge inspirations to me and ofc so many other peeps. inspiring cause yes they’re talented but they’re just so cool and themselves:)
That Praxis album with Buckethead, Bootsy Collins and Brain is fucking wild.
Great thank you!
I wish there was a bootleg recording of that high school gym improv. I'd love to hear it.
Love it! Nice to hear that he’s funny and kind. Love the creative spirit
Serj is much fun to listen to ....he should have a Podcast
Aqui es cuando suelto una lagrima escuchando esta historia 😢❤
My favourite Buckethead album and one of my favourite albums of all time🎼🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Serj is a great story teller
One of my favourite albums.
Enter the Chicken is a fantastic album! Music of course is absolutely stellar, but lots of the songs/lyrics are just so funny and silly, it makes it really unique. If you're here and haven't heard it, please go listen!
Once in a lifetime gig for the school kids.
Great album👍 '3 Fingers'❤️🔥
Excellent 👌
unsure why Bucket "NEEDED $" if with GN'R then, Axl paid him $15,000-$20,000 a month in studio PRIOR to touring where band members made MUCH MORE.
Because whoever you are… there is a hole in the bottom of the bucket
Cocaine is expensive.
Saw him during a Primus show in DC years ago. Les randomly says Buckethead, Buckethead. Proceeds to rip for 15 minutes or so. Disappears into the ether. Great show, thank you boys.
for this video you deserved our sub... :).... \o/
Enter the chicken is such a good ass album
"Battle of the bands. We came fifth."
I am a huge Serj and S.O.A.D. fan, but never mentioning Fair To Midland and what happened to them just never gets mentioned.
Long Live Buckethead!!
///+..+\\\ Awesomeness, Thanks for the share NatterNet🤘🏽🐓🤖
Just saw Buckethead 2 days ago, it was incredible
I wonder if he remembers Fair to Midland? He performed with them a few times back in the day. I miss that band so much.
Bucket head makes frank Zappa look and sound normal bucket head is a freaking of nature his technique his accuracy is flawless there is nothing he can't play he goes from chicken picken bluegrass and country to the heaviest metal riff you ever heard blinding fast shredder with the 8 finger tapping to slow emotional souful haunting sounds and does all that in one song and make things that don't normally sound good sound good and does it so fluidly make it look easy Buckethead not my favorite but still think he is the underrated guitar player ever never heard anyone sound like bucket or close to emulating his sound and style just amazing guy, i think people get turned off because there grown man with a bucket on his head white mask with yellow rain jacket and pants on and only talks with a weird ugly puppet so no one takes him serious until you hear play and you see what all the hypes about him you can't forget about doing the robot dance while playing does he have stage fright or something like that get up makes him feel more at ease maybe
why won't buckethead do a uk tour? I've been into his music over 25 years! need to see him live, it's on my... bucket list...excuse the pun.
Well, that was cool Thank you.
Wish I could meet bucket🥺💜
Is there any information about how Bucket learnt the nunchuks?
I taught him everything he knows
I believe he has his black belt?
@grantdonley4014 yes, he was an exceptional student, or now shall I say, master?
Serj 💜
Serj sounds like John Malkovich when he's just talking
Whoever wrote the lyrics to ‘Funbus’ is incredible. I don’t care for the music on ‘funbus’ as much, But its lyrics. It puts down attitude kids have on music. Hot topic trends. At concerts, it’s hilarious! If not mistaken Bad acid trip wrote lyrics ‘Funbus’ It caps hard on kids mentality.
That sounds like it would have been just so much fun.,
How do I contact Buckethead. I have a chicken that is very interested in visiting his amusement park for chickens
Hey I work at a chicken plant foster Farms by the way and I love great guitar player's he is the greatest
I Love Enter the Chicken!!!
I love Buckethead and SOADs Toxicity. Great hearing this story.
I think it would be rad af, to open an amusement park for chickens!
Holy Hades Batman!! Shana Halligan worked with Buckethead & Serj?!? 🤯 I MUST HEAR THIS!!! 🏃🏻♂️💨
He sounds like he's reading someone else's book
awful reading, and of his own words even
This is AI reading Serj's words.
I NEED TO KNOW WHO WON THIS BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Serj is on a first name basis with Buckethead. He simply calls him Bucket.
he's cool
I love Buckethead I wish he would come back to Va 🤖🤖🥋🍿🎸🐓
I wish I was at the Battle of the Band High School show
💪
why does serj sound like AI?
Because AI can imitate specific human voices.
Audible is notorious for using AI narrators. If Amazon can dehumanize something, they will. Seemingly it also includes Serj.
Fun fact; Audible cut for creators is 30%, they pocket the rest. It's literally Steam in reverse, with a fraction of the bandwidth per unit sold. With AI they don't have to pay even that. Don't shop Amazon, folks.
We are one!
Dude's probably close to 50 years old. It's time to take the bucket off.
✌️💚
Time reveals all.
Enter The Chicken is still a great record, I feel like Serj learned a lot about how to produce a record from Rick Rubin
sounds like ai
100% is...
@@obmguitarist i agree
The amusement park for chickens says it all.
Brian carroll, the goat
Saul Williams with Buckethead?? Excuse me, y'all, I have a track to listen to...
Serj looking like Zappa a li'l
Serj sampled his voice and had AI do this talk
I feel like Buckethead could be Ryan Hailey in disguise. *If you know, you know.
🎉👍😁
Sounds like Serj AI :D
yea... something isn't right 😂
🧞♂️👍🏻😊👍🏻🧞♂️

You know as a huge system fan I now feel ashamed of myself for wanted serj to do more system when he’s actually been out there living life and enjoying himself away from the band. I feel like a selfish childish fool for not wanting this guy to just live his life . Serj I m sorry man, keep living and if system never makes another album or plays a show that I can see live , it’s ok. System died so that serj could live !
