  • The last of my extreme budget EDC series, the Civivi NOx is a small framelock with an exceptional steel and a great edge, but is it the right choice for you? The price is nice, the quality seems to be there, but will you miss having titanium? Let’s play with it.
You can grab one here: www.civivi.com/
    Or in their Amazon store.

I just picked one of these up last month for only 29.99$ on BladeHQ. I purposely bought those to abuse instead of my Ti framelocks, my Chaves, and my CruCarta. I was looking for a good budget edc to abuse and stumbled across this and seen it was a steel framelock, and it had Nitro V steel which I believe is the best budget steel, followed by 14c, AR-RPM9, and Bohler K110, I like those 4 budget steels best, but i think Nitro V reigns supreme, and my fav steel is my M390 on my Chaves knife.

Just noticed my CIVIVI PERF is exactly, and I mean exactly the same knife with the scales milled out. Thus, the name PERF.

I almost bought this night three or four times. My picture is of a civivi baby banter with u locked composites scales . His scales are super fricken nice too . There was a set even more raised than these and lanyard holes are options or even no clip . He’s ramping up still tho but yeah man . Hopefully the manix 2 and ad 15 cF scales are coming soon . I handed them off and am hoping he does it .everyone will dig these scales compared to what I’ve seen .

Love bites on any cutting tool gives it character & making it yours, eventually conform to your hold giving that perfect cut. Any knife will perform as required if its owner maintain & service its need regularly. " You scratch my back, I'll cut whatever.!". Great review of the NOx matey. Any chances of you doing your budget collection? Under $100?. It's always educational when watching your show. Warm hello from Australia.

Hi Jim. Your T shirt is dope! I would love to buy one. Where can I buy one. The Elementum is my favorite Civivi knife. I would love to get my hands on the Damascus Elementum. The WE titanium Elementum is really cool as well.

I say this all the time, but it bears repeating. The original $42 Civivi models, of which the Praxis is the only one still produced, has more care and effort put into just its liners than are put into entire knives from Golden or Oregon City. The steel liners are heavily skeletonized, chamfered, fully polished, and then electroplated. The liners on most of my knives with the Trademark Round Hole weren’t even deburred properly.

As a sub $100 gear user, I like seeing stuff like this. Eye candy knives have their place. But that place isn't with me.

There is a reason for deep carry. My work if they see them tell you to leave them home. Because the want you to use the plastic pos replaceable crap shoot blade. These things worthless. The " parachute" knives we used previously to them were better than the hot garbage they have now. So I carry a real knife.
