New equipment. Yes.
My dad backed the tractor up to a rat hole & piped the exhaust into the hole. We walked & plugged as many exit holes as we could find. That was a very effective solution
So glad to see both cows doing well.
More toys to help save time on work.
Have a great weekend.
Beautiful...love those antique implements...good deal.
Are those "antique" implements THAT old ? As long as they get the job done !!
I know its more work for you, but I'd like to see you use them both at the same time. Only because I know I'll never get to do that myself 😆
Good timing...just as i was dozing off at work😅
Of course you could rig up a yoke! And only you!
Youre right on with that statment. If he thinks about something, he will make it.
I see a round baler in the background at the seller, I am assuming same seller that sold you the round baler? Those rakes had a hitch attachment that was built somewhat like an implement carrier and went up and over the first rake to a steerable axle that pulled the second rake. The rake with the front dolly was usually upfront on those so you could offset it so it was behind the tractor tire when you are working in between narrow borders.
So Tyler not to be negative, those rakes are exactly opposite..some parts will swap other will not..
The 256/260 is a combination side delivery rake.there should have been a factory hitch to use them in tandem their intended purpose
You treat your cattle very well !!
❤ Always a pleasure watching you. If anyone can make something for your new equiptment, it is you !!!
Use your gofer trap or your gas operated trap for that rat. Nice rakes, I can see why you bought them.👍🙏🏽😎✌🏻🇺🇸
Great video farmer Tyler ranch I like the new hay rake
Good rakes in Minnesota there all over .
Hurricane Helene just passed over. My power has been out for 2 days. I have my charger plugged up to the inverter so I can keep my iPad charged. Don’t want to miss an episode of FTR! Good morning, Farmer Tyler and family
Prayers to you and your family, friends and neighbors 🙏🏼
We call them side-delivery rakes.
Turn one of the rakes into a weed wiper
Oooow I’m so glad you got your new equipment and a bargain 😃😃😃😃😃. The cows walking great now👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻xx
Hell!..you had to say build a yoke to run both!..
Now you got to do it...PLEASE!..😁👍
Whoo-hoo...🎉 the oldie but goody quality ❤ Nice! So exciting.
I am very happy that cow walking around fine good job Tyler
Running a pipe from your 6N will kill the rats. The car will not Modern car exhausts are too clean.
Tylerisms
When a deal is too good to pass up, well, you can't pass it up.
I wouldn't know that I if I didn't look at her.
She is going to culled. The question is, How soon?
My father always said, if you see one rat there are 7 more in the area. That's how sneaky they are.
Good bargains are hard to pass up.... That's what my wife tells me .....😅
Great to get new equipment, be it new or new to you! Just opens up more possibilities for improvement. Glad you have the LS, seemed to make short work with unloading. Another good day on the FTR!
Hi Tyler from Indiana, I like the two rakes Tyler my grandpa had rake like that until 6 wheel rake
New to me. That’s what every piece of equipment I have started as.
two is one and one is none........nice find!!
Awesome !!!
Anytime you haul a rake and don't find part of somebody's mailbox hanging in the basket when you get home is a success
😂😂😂
They made attachments for hooking side delivery rakes together. Grew up using NH rakes
I hate to be an "I told you so.....", but I did that the hole was not a ground Squirrel. If you aren't vigilant, Rats will overrun you where ever you feed livestock, especially Chickens and Hogs and they will shortly chew up the rubber mat covers on the outstanding new feeder you fabricated. Asphyxiation might be a suggestion to try; tie into and seal your ATV exhaust to the hole? Maybe you need to invest in more than one trail cam for all of your varmint activity? I know this isn't going to sit too well, and I know Victor won't be a You Tube sponsor for $2.50 rat traps, but they work very well and you could purchase about 200 of them for the cost of one CO2 trap. Happy for your new hay rake purchases. For equipment perhaps 40 years old, they certainly were well taken care of, hope you get much good use making your hay for years to come!
Hi FT! More equipment to make things easier is always a plus! Good luck on the rats! Praying you can get rid of them! My husband uses hoses and water for other rodents, it may work. God’s blessings!
In Chicago, rats were faught by sending a chunk of dry ice down the hole. It suffocates them.
I’m going to suggest you put those 2 rakes to work together. It’s faster to rake and you only need 1 driver to get the job done.
Tyler the 256 can have a clevis hitch or the dolly wheel setup like you have, the 256 is a left hand delivery and the 260 means right hand delivery, they are the same width roughly 8' rakes, a 258 is a left hand delivery that is roughly 9' width, they also made a 57 that is 3pt hitch rollabar rake
I just clicked on this without watching it first but I do love to see the happiness on your face so here we are
Drop a lit road flare in the hole and cover it up. The sulfur will foul the hole and also show you where any other hidden exits are.
Callie needs another friend she looks lonely
Good thinking. Omg the rat was huge. Flood it i think 😂😂
Have considered trying one of the Pinkeye vaccines?
Man you gat a amazing set up now lol I’ve been looking for a 260 around here can’t find them lol one day shall find me one I run a 55 and 56 on a tandem rake hitch now
Thanks Tyler ,peace brother…
I would do the water, it would water some plants at the same time. 😊
Getting ready for the rice straw as the first use
Yep remember them well from before the eighties. We use those to rake hay no tetters
You forgot that one of the rakes can be rented out and make a lot of money😂😂
You don’t suppose she has Trich, do you? It’s been on the rise in the midwest.
Have fun with your new work toys!❤
Don’t opossums eat mice too?
You’re gonna need a set of forks for that new tractor.
Looks like the hayrake we used when I was a kid 😊
The CO2 trap for the rat wit P butter?.
Have a great weekend! 😃
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤
Hi Tyler
🎉🎉 very cool!
💖💖💖💖💖
👍👍❤🐂
❤
I moved from Central California to, eventually, Olympia, WA. We have more than our share of moles here. They sure play havoc on lawns and gardens.
I live here, too! Since ‘96!!! Nice to meet you!
Rats love swimming. They come up in people's toilets! Happened to me. A 2nd. Floor toilet at that!
🤯
I would’ve moved that day 😂 you’re tougher than I am 😱
