If you ever get to go see them, go find their lightman Niller. He is one of the nicest, coolest guys you will ever meet! Plus he has a King Diamond tattoo.

I'm 17 and I never cried this hard over a song it's some powerful stuff my friend.
This came out right after I had to put my Doberman down for neurological issues that were causing random aggression. He was otherwise in the prime of his life. I had already been very affected that day by watching him play in the yard and soak up the sun one last time before I took him to the vet, so this song fucks me up HARD.
Favourite Volbeat Song of one of my best friends. She passed away on May 20th 2023. Rest in Peace Hanna. ❤

Volbeat is absolutely my favorite band. I'm going to be 44 this year, I grew up on metallica, gnr, pantera, etc. But the way they mix metal with raw vocal talent blows my mind. I hope to see them live someday! Keep rocking guys!

Yesterday morning, we lost a fellow student, brother in arms, and friend in a car accident 6 days before graduating Fire Academy. He was a good man, hard worker, and amazing friend to us all. He passed away at 23. Far too soon. You won't be forgotten Steven. We all love you

Holy shit. Saw these guys last Friday. Seeing them live is like listening to them on the radio. AMAZING how good they sound live.
Mark Acker I saw them on the 28th during Knotfest (obviously) and Poulsens vocals really own up to the live setting. Absolutely amazing concert.

I'm from Denmark (as are Volbeat) and I went to the US of A on vacation this summer. Part of the trip was the Oshkosh Airshow and when your brutal A-10 made it's appearance, the producers played Volbeat's "A Warrior's Call". My heart skipped a beat when I noticed that. It was so cool. And so is this song - I think it's their best song yet.

Heard them play this one live during the Knotfest Roadshow in Albuquerque back in 2019. And my god was it amazing. It was raining lightly during this song and toward the end of this one they had yellow lights on. You can see the rain slowly coming down and while he quietly sang the final chorus it was an absolute amazing moment. That night they earned another fan of their music. 🖤🖤🖤

Proud to have followed this great band from Denmark (now minus the lead guitar player who is from the states) from the very beginning here in Copenhagen, Denmark, when we were only about 20 - 25 people to their first gigs and when the front singer, Michael Poulsen always took a walk among the crowd after the concert, to hear what we thought about the gig and taking pictures with us.
Said to my friends, that if this band dont get succes around the world, there are no justice in the world.
They just hit some kind of new music with their rock a billy, rock ‘n roll music with a twist of Elvis there as well (Yes, the front singer is a huge Elvis fan).
It blew me away and from the first song I was a fan.

Im 47 and i love rock but it all seems so cookie cutter. Vb is one of my favs.. In a world swamped with bands its almost impossible to come up with an original sound and style but these boys pulled it off and made it look easy. Im knocking on 50 and people ask me when ill out grow " That stuff".
Ill never out grow a preference for excellence.

So glad I found this song. When I was working in a warehouse I had a co worker who would blast his music out loud. An older gentlemen. Very long beard old school rock kinda guy. As I was stowing goods near his station I heard this song come on twice. Sounds so good! I did my best to listen to the lyrics so I can search it up. I kept thinking it was "Last Day on Earth" so I couldn't really find it haha. I couldn't muster the confidence to ask him what song is that playing. I no longer work there, but I finally found the song searching once more. Great song. Great band.
Since the death of Lemmy, Volbeat has become my favorite band. These guys rock... the songs are diffent, not the same beat with different lyrics. Keep rocking guys!
They are my current fav too, but Motorhead ceased to exist with the first departure of Filthy Taylor and Fast Eddy in 81-82. Don't get me wrong, the first five Motorhead records are God Like.

The cool thing about this song is that with the three stories told... Most of us can relate to at least one of them. The old lady fits me. I have a degenerative and painful autoimmune illnesses that has been wearing me down for years. I would love to be pain free again.
I also know a guy that was a trucker and he hit a kid that came off a side street on a hill and lost control of their bike, couldn't stop before they got to the highway. Even though it wasn't his fault, the guilt was enough that he had to quit driving and he struggles with the memory every day and it's been twenty years.
And i think most of us probably someone who was raised by someone other than their parents for situations similar to the young boys.
So while it might not rock as fast as 'Warriors call', for many people the stories rock just as much.

Fcufbvk you here's my life story. Scroll on if you don't care. My mom took her life five years ago, she broke her tail bone and had severe pain for 30 years. She jumped off a bridge at 3am, I was 22, drunk that night playing totally accurate battle simulator when the last I saw of her was walking down the stairs. I will never forget her in her nightgown that night. I wish I hugged her. Fguvkt it, let me tell you, after the news hit me the next day, the first thing I did was jam this. I was in my car bawling my eyes out and blasting this on my bose speakers. I was thinking yesterday was my last day under the sun. Fguvkt man, I hate that I deal with this.
I'm sorry for your loss. Losing someone is never easy but so is regretting the past. As hard as it is to do, we have to let go to move on. I really hope everything gets better for you.
