- Welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet this easy baby girl dress, frock or gown for 1-3 months. You can also make this dress longer by simply adding more rows to the skirt. And if you want to make it smaller or larger you can do it by simply changing your hook.
For this crochet baby dress tutorial I used Lion Brand light #3 baby yarn. I used about 100g. You may need less or more depending how long you want your dress to be. You can also use cotton thread #10 just use 2 strands.

Maybe you should use a little darker back round when you are using a light color yarn...would make it easier to see what you are doing...love your videos and have made a lot of your items for my grand daughter.

Good morning, making another one of your beautiful projects. I came up with 107 on the first double crochet row (that was my second try too ! Lol) Will the pattern still work or should I try to add in the missing stitches?? Thank you 😊

I made it lol. At the end of this video ruclips.net/video/rXuVmD-_VaU/видео.html I show how to make it with 4 loops but I made this one on this dress with 6 loops and then I added a little ribbon flower which you can make by stitching along the edge than pulling the thread. Crochet For Baby Depending which size hook but anything soft enough for baby, if bigger mm maybe stylecraft DK. Thank you for your reply.
Ok. It’s a thin yarn then so this means that we can’t use a bigger hook than what I mention on my video. The only thing I can think of is to make the joke bigger but it’s a bit difficult to say by how much 🤔. You probably only need to add an additional bean to each panel and that takes 2 stitches so that at the beginning you have 6 beans, then 11, 11, 11 and 6 again. Try adding 10 more chains and see if it works for you but use a 4mm or 4.5mm hook. Good luck and let me know if works for you.
