Yes, DTG Printing on dark garments with white ink requires Pretreating. White ink needs to bond to pretreat on dark garments to be visible. Pretreat is not required on light garments with color ink only. Direct To Film transfers do not require pretreat on any garments.
With the 2270, do we have to pretreat when doing DTG?
I wondered this also

So nice… Im impressed!!!! Ty for this video!
You bet! The F2270 is going to rule!
Does this one still burn though ink every month like the F2100? That one burns through over $100 per month.
There could be som operating tips on the F2100 to help you reduce ink consumption. The F2270 is even more efficient on ink consumption than the F2100.
Ours is printing super grainy and not good quality at all, just got it a few days ago
See my notes from your other comment on the F2270 Introduction
I was really hoping Epson would of jumped into DTF printing with roll ability instead of coming out with this. 20 shirts an hour isn't impressive.
It's bound to happen. In the meantime the 2270 is a great hybrid printer for both DTG and DTFilm.
THOUGHT YOU WAS GOING TO SHOW HOW TO POWDER BUT I GUESS WE JUSTWASTED 26MINUTES@@MelcoEmbroidery
