Here’s our editing workflow for creating cinematic vertical videos for social media, all in one uncut take! This is an hour and 20 minutes of pure behind-the-scenes action as we work inside DaVinci Resolve.
In this video, we:
Organize files and set up the project.
Use Notion to keep our script and ideas in check.
Take advantage of DaVinci’s transcription tool to find clips and the best takes.
Cut, layer, and add transitions to bring it all together.
Add text overlays and color-grade clips for that cinematic look.
We even share how we balance going back and forth between Notion and DaVinci Resolve to stay on track with the script.
