Imagine a bunch of senators deciding by themselves they can jeopardize the alliances and more importantly the sphere of influence the US has by declaring war on a bunch of allies. This similar irresponsible behavior should not be tolerated and anyone supporting it should really think to themselves whether they actually are loyal to the US and its constitution.
