Hello, I am trying to learn the glide I have everything else down its just o have a very hard time being able to push it my heel because currently I am pushing off the balls of my feet and im almost hopping instead of a glide. My PR is 33.66 ft
I'm a thrower from Michigan. I ended up throwing 40 feet in the shot and 116 in the disc (although not at a meet) my Freshman season of track. Where would you say I could expect to be come Senior year?
Hard to predict! I always hope for 3-4’ of improvement per year in the shot. 5-15’ in discus. But this is different for everyone! Work hard, drill, lift, pay close attention to technique and you will continue to improve! If you need help, visit www.throwbigthrowfar.com
Hank Hill I agree. I started throwing my Soph of HS year best was 102’ by Sr year best was 157’ Lots of great coaching, Summer meets, video tape ur self and lots of practice. Pick something to work on every time. Motivation and watch lots of videos. Pick a thrower you would like to throw like. I kept throwing thru college and ended up with a best of 187’ with the 2k Discus. Olympic Style Weightlifting proper technique lots of plyometrics helped me Best of luck

I’m 6,1 210lbs with a 300 pound bench press and a junior in high school, could I beat my schools record of 49’7 if I did track my senior year?

Solareius meters is typically done in more higher up throwing, like college and professional, not middle and high school.
@@stevearnold2855 meters is the official for any country, so for more audience in RUclips better to use metrics
