@@fajaradi1223 Firstly, NVIDIA has skewed all entry graphic cards for gamers on a low budget (£100 - £280), have done that but have kept usual prices like the 3050 8GB price much higher than the old name xx50 in 100-150 tier. Nobody wants to pay an entry level gpu that is simply much worser than 4060 or AMD equivalant for not much more money.
Secondly, Intel and AMD have taken the competition in terms of budget, well not so for 7600 and XT this time around (Intel Arc are cheapest but among weakest). The newer 6GB 3050 may make gamers believe the performance segment is true for the price (2GB less VRAM but about 30% slower). Third, new Ryzen APUs have gotten much quicker and efficient and will continue to do so in the future, I mean NVIDIA may deliver the performance crown if they release the 5050 and beats APU on other benchmarks.
The lack of response from team green in lowerering costs and rising TSMC prices might just simply give them excuses in to why there is nothing new for segment

Yup. I want AMD to gain their fair share of market share and remain competitive, but I don’t want Intel to go out of business either. The market need duopoly or more, 1 company exist to keep the other on their toes.
Intel being a leader for too long got too comfortable and not competitive and paid the price. If AMD does the same, they deserve the same results if they don’t learn from Intel’s mistakes. We all know ARM is lurking around the corner. Though technically x64 and ARM64 are completely different platforms, they still compete in the same market place for customers looking to buy laptops and computers. It will be a matter of time ARM enters the desktop or GPU market. Especially with nVidia increasing performance by also increasing power draw. If ARM can deliver something that delivers 80% of that performance at 10% of the power draw and at 70% of the MSRP, that would be huge and attractive to consumers.

Circumstances led to us currently having a 3400G+RX 580 and a 5800X3D+RX 6800 systems, a 4700U laptop and zero Intel and Nvidia products in the house, and I have almost a decade of experience using AMD products so I am by no means an AMD hater, but in my experience Ryzen has never been as stable as pre-13th gen Intel. With Intel as far as I've known from friends' anecdotes and people's complaints on the internet they have been the paragon of stability for over a decade.
AMD on the other hand has been sticking it to Intel in one way or another in performance since Ryzen 1000, and are still outclassing them in some scenarios such as gaming with their X3D stuff. Around Ryzen 5000 series AMD was the better option in literally everything except maybe in scenarios that required Intel's QuickSync. These days it's almost a no-brainer to buy a Ryzen PC if gaming is your priority - either they're always cheaper than the competition, or significantly faster for the same money.
This is why Intel losing the stability crown is such a big deal. I don't even remember the last time I heard about Intel stability issues on a consumer desktop environment, and my first PC dates all the way back to NetBurst.

The higher end ones would probably be more but if the RTX 5050 comes out at 8-10GB and the RTX 5060 comes out in 10-12GB of vram that would be great. Lets say the RTX 5050 can do 1080p high settings 60fps on the 8-10GB model would be great and if it is at the 200 dollar and below mark. If the 5060 can do max settings 1080p 60fps with the 10-12GB of vram and the price at 200-250 dollars would be great as well.

I just want my 5090 to not be a fire hazard, have decently better specs and performance for the power consumption, and better ports, at a humane price. If they have the leeway to choose between giving us the best performance at a cheaper value, they should just do it and give us the best option. They're going to be targeting AI mainly anyways.

Oh how the tides have changed. Intel has had a very long past of being the "go to" choice for system admins as that's what all of their programs had already been built around, to avoid any potential transition pains, they religiously stuck with Intel... So much for all that 😂

Intel really needs to step up with the 13th/14th gen failures. They have a BUNCH of good will to re-earn after this in both the server hosting and high-end consumer market. Their only real hope is for AMD to have a stumble like the exploding x3D parts from last year, IMO.

I'm really hoping the 9900X3D and 9950X3D chips would have vcache on both CCDs to avoid all the confusing core allocation and whatnot that Zen 4 dual CCD 3D chips had. Alas I'll probably just go for the 9800X3D then and maybe plan to upgrade to Zen6 or whatever the final gen CPU of AM5 is if I need the extra cores
