How to safely move a boulder

- Moving boulders can be dangerous if your not careful. You can hurt your back or crush your fingers. This video I will show you a safe technique to move a boulder, in fact I get my 2 daughters to do the heavy lifting for me. Once you know this technique, its not really that hard to move a boulder, but it does require some patience.

Simple machine: first class lever. Not only is it important to have a long arm but to be clear: the fulcrum must be placed so that the small arm or resistant arm is considerably smaller than the long arm where effort is applied.

This was a great video, including the family and all. Unmentioned but very important is the extra invisible force used to move the rock called gravity. It would have been substantially harder, if not impossible, to move the rock like this uphill.

Thats right, families can move mountains together. The bars were from the sides of an old trampoline. Just something lying around that was good for a lever at the time.

Use a cant hook that you use to move logs with and just roll them with it. Works good.

Опыт не плохой. НО: положи этот камень на щит из дерева, а под щит подкладывай трубы, под трубы подложи доски, чтоб трубы не проваливались в землю. И твои девочки смогут перекатывать этот камень, периодически перекладывая трубы с места на место.
