Mediocre gymnastics at best. Absolute lack of apparatus technique in all routines. No matter the apparatus, you just get the same beat music, apparatus technique of 9 year old, people are not blind / except for the judges, I guess . How can a gymnast with such limited abilities be pronounced a world champion??? Some people in blue suits have to be embarrassed by the scores they award to that gymnast.
How is it mediocre? I agree that the routines all feel very samesy and she would be better suited to something balletic. Always feel Germans gymnasts choose the craziest music - including artistic gymnastics which makes me not want to watch them, but this girl is not mediocre
@@user-xx1ou7fc3p, a world champion should be exceptional, somebody that you'll remember for many years with the originality, creativity, unusual steps, moves, throws, connections. Above all the music and movements have to intertwine in absolute harmony. With that gymnast, you can only see disco and more disco with same body difficulty all over. It is not unusual for gymnasts to repeat moves, but no matter the apparatus, with her you get more of the same with a fake smile faking artistry and no she does not have different characters in any routine. Any other gymnast is either in dramatic , playful, lyrical routines. This one is all the same just with different apparatus in her hand. You can change any of her musics from one to another and it will not make a difference. How is that not mediocre? I wrote, those are basic , basic difficulties that a 9-10 year olds can do. Just don't reply to me, please.
@@nadejda1Well, I have the need to reply. As a german and as a close watcher of rhythmic gymnastic the past two decades this gave me nothing. It was lifeless and stiff. The art is to make it look easy and to tell a story and to stun the crowd. She did neither. I watched the olympic final two days ago with tears in my eyes, which might be a childish reaction but this is such a great setback to the sport. And to compare this halfheartly rock show (which shows indeed no skills for the actual sport, the apparatus handling) with Kanaeva, to give it fifth medals, is just terrific. Now she is ranked above Kudryatseva... definitely no words. People can complain about her russian heritage and that she is not german (what is dispisable and respectless to her), but they cannot question the judges decisions? I hoped so much that they would stop ranking by difficulty (what they obviously have lost any clue about again after Kabaeva 2004 and her parade of mistakes) and that this gold medal wasn't already decided behind the scenes beforehand. Well, it was. Luckily true art will survive like Raffaeli and Kaleyn showed it, longer than names.
