It's not of Muslim origin but of Modern Hindi language or Urdu lyrics which have Farsi words and all songs of Hindi are not in pure Hindi but in Hindi of persianised /farsi version which is similar to Urdu. Those words which we call Urdu words are actually of Farsi words and Urdu and Hindi sometimes known as Hindustani language because two languages are very similar in casual level (not literally as in literature) and Hindi Urdu both are 99% or more same at causal level except written script and in films and songs you can't distinguish between Hindi and Urdu.
Urdu isn't the language of Muslims as many thinks but Arabic is holy language (language of Quran) for Muslims and Arabic and Urdu both are totally different dispite they look similar in writing but Urdu is Indian language having influence of Farsi language specially due to certain Farsi invaders such as Mughals.

Mithoon is one of the most underrated composers in bollywood ever. Many times when I’m listening to some of my favourite songs in last 15 years and I try to find the composer, I’m surprised to see it’s almost always Mithoon. He should have got more recognition
