VW TIGUAN MK2 - How To Remove Radio Stereo Infotainment Display Screen Removal

Guide on how to remove the centre dashboard radio / stereo / head unit display screen assembly on a VW Tiguan Mk2 model, years 2017 onwards.
The full trim around the dashboard must be removed to gain access to the display unit. A replacement unit may require coding.

Is the coding only available from VW? Also the head unit trim is it just clicked onto the rest of the trim? Thanks

any try to retrofit 2017 Tiguan II radio, to its 2018 radio version ?

Is it much the same for the crafter because it looks the same head unit. 🤔 thanks

Unfortunately we haven't had a Crafter in the workshop, so cannot confirm this.
