For some reason this is not working for me. I've set up an image from the twitch default imagery, the test alert is working, but when I redeem the channel points nothing happens... Trying to troubleshoot it for 3 days now, and whatever I do, the channel points I used are not triggering the alert.

Stayed up til 3 trynna find a solution but all i found was other people having the same issue recently. All i can think about is this is an issue on twitch’s side. Ive done everything twitchs help article has told me to do and no avail.
Thank you very much Trui, I came to think I was stupid, because no tutorial here in Brazil that explained how to listen to the sounds of alerts of the points, even following the tutorials I could not hear the rescues which took away the interaction with the followers, so thank you very much for explaining so well and being so objective! The alert does show up in the queue and once I click it the alert does fire off into OBS. I wonder why it isn't autoplaying my channel reward redeems?
Although I was using this for the intended reason, you actually showed me how to make it so I can finally hear my alerts. 😂It was always audible for viewers but not me, so I wouldn't notice when it happened. Turns out you just need to go into advanced audio properties on obs and set the audio monitoring to monitor only. Thanks trui, love your streams too.

@olsza , when you created the custom reward, did you select Skip reward Queue? I'm curious if that's the step everyone keeps skipping. If you didn't select it, you might try going to the queue and see if approving it would play the alert
Thanks so much for making this! I've got to the last step but my redeem isn't playing the sound. The tests are sending to my streamlabs but once I try to test by hitting the redeem it doesn't work with the sound. Am I missing something?
If i use "Send Test Alert" it works perfectly fine and i can see and hear it in my OBS. But if i go to Twitch and pay the channel points for the reward, which is linked to that alert, nothing happens :(

You do need to put the browser source in the streaming software of choice. I showed how to do it in OBS Studio, but it works the same in Streamlabs desktop
If you want it to pop-up on stream you need to use a streaming software on PC. You can let them redeem things that you will do and the redeem will show in chat.
I some how didn't get it to work for me... I followed all the steps and somehow it isn't working Edit: It does work!! Just if you try to redeem it without being live to test it wont pop up! Once you are live it will though!
Sorry to hear that! I can't really tell what went wrong as I obviously can't see what you have done. Have you tried refreshing the browser source in OBS?

This is a good start but they need to keep going. Native chat commands so I don't need to use bots is the big step, they are missing.

So, i take it this can't be used for a mobile streaming app like Streamelements, since it requires pasting a browsers source into an obs?
Correct. Channel points do give an notification in chat though, so you could do something with that instead.

Oh, that's not good! You can regulate the audio via the creator dashboard or in OBS for the whole browser source

If viewer redeem a reward, the alert wont be triggered... the alert test button works.

0/10 had high hope but in the end it's not working : test alert works fine but no sound comes out if reedeem it on my twitch
