I kind of love the picture in the last one bc the tire is still getting changed. Like the problem is still being solved. Biker woman went out of her way to help a stranger who looks pretty grateful for it. I feel like it's kind of a good representation of their entire viewpoint: trying to (literally) paint a picture of ~modern society~ as some backwards scary thing while ignoring the fact that in practice, people are the same as they've always been. Good people are still doing good things and the world is still filled primarily with those people. They just might not always look/act how conservatives expect them to and they refuse to see anything else
In other news; I’m constantly making a cup of tea while drinking a bottle of water. My husband tells me often and fondly that I need a beverage station in our forever house. I concur.
5:00 Hey, can we not do this? Bi women exist and deserve to still present queerly and date men. The acephobia and biphobia in the gay/lesbian community is Not It. :/
Pretty sure this clip is abt a het woman 'presenting queerly' (whether intentionally or not), also its not saying bi women can't present however they want to and still date men, it's just a girl expressing her disappointment bcz it turns out someone she was into isn't available. So yeah.
I think the creator of that video was clownin on themselves assuming an AFAB person who "looks like a lesbian" (I'm guessing, masc) and so they decided to get to know them and then this person starts talking about their man. But it's just a supposition.
My father really needs to hear that last one, he mad my sister and I are helping our mom to realize she’s her own person and doesn’t need to raise her husband
Hi so I dont mean to bother you at all but the slang use of 'delusional' isnt great for folks with psychotic disorders and such. Like its a very small nitpick or whatever its just something I have noticed bothers some folks and myself /gen
this. whenever i'm describing a past delusion, i have to very clearly specify that i mean it in like an "i am quite literally not sane" way. it can be a bit frustrating having to take extra steps so that ppl don't misunderstand, when the word i'm using is exactly the word i mean! i'm using the actual clinical word "delusional" because that's actually what i mean to be saying! as i was re-reading my comment, i noticed another thing that i have to do bc of this problem. i say "not sane" instead of "insane" because the association with the word has come so far from it's literal meaning, and i'm sick of people misunderstanding me. technically, they mean the same thing, so why can't they just be used the same way ;-; anyway. sorry for the rant lol
I was wondering about this.. I think delusional means anyone who is thinking non rationally about something, which any thinking person can do with their mind at times.. I can understand wanting to be treated respectfully as a person, and not having medical conditions minimised or brushed off with self effacing or humiliating jokes, that's super important to me too.. but I think delusional in a psychiatry sense is a delusional disorder? Not just delusional, which anybody can be. It's the disorder part that causes it to be a psychiatry issue, rather than having a irrational opinion about something just itself, because anybody can get over invested, be trauma triggered, under informed, or over passionate about a subject or opinion or topic or for a phase of life. I hope that can reassure you that I think the creators intention was about how all of us as humans can get a bit wrapped up at times, and come back from that. I dont think their intention or use of the term was to humiliate anyone with a psychiatric disorder, or minimise the difficulty of loving with mental illnesses. I think it was intended to humanise all of us, rather than dehumanise a few folks 🙏

@@doggedwoolunfortunately whether intentionally or not the implication is still there.
I assumed it was about the fact that she was taken in the first place, and a straight man makes it highly unlikely that she's queer
@@lajeonit Queer people can and do date cishet people, and that doesn't decrease or invalidate their queerness.
