I purchased one for the bow also. I also used for transporting my kayak in the back of my truck at dark due to the overhang past the bed. Being multipurpose I use mine on my portable ice shanty at night to keep snow machines aware of my position. Battery life is awesome. Thanks for the great videos.
They need a way to use a wireless remote system so you don't have to crawl around your kayak to turn them on and off.

Got two for my old town pdl 120. One for the bow (red/green) and second for under the seat (blue) light for fishing at early mornings.
Exactly what I was looking for thanks for sharing. I am like you as well do not like drilling unnecessary holes in my kayak. So anytime I can go wireless or no drill I'm on it.

I bought the elite (larger) package as I kayak at night. I like them, however have my negatives as well.
They are very well made, small, durable, and attach well into the magnet mounts. I have the tethers also.
However, I was not thrilled when the bright, which I need on high to be seen, only lasts about 1 1/2 hours
or slightly more, on the flashing mode. On low surely you would get many more hours out of them.

I love this story regarding your success as an influencer man. Congrats on all the success! I love the lights too! I'll be grabbing a kit off of your link. I've just begun modding my first kayak. Literally just drilled 3 holes today for dry storage hatches on my Pelican tandem 130T Challenger. Don't need all the storage more than I needed access to the inside of my hull for mounting some items. Suffice to say the Guardian Angel lights will make things a lot easier. Thank you again!

Could also glue magnet inside of hull where you want it, then the light will just stick to your kayak without anything on the outside, other than the light itself.
If they are as strong as they look in the video, they should magnet through the thickness of the hull I think.

Not sure if you sorted out your lighting already, but I'm planning on mounting the bracket directly over/through the drain hole in the bow on my OT PDL 106. The drain plug isn't a feature I really use as I rarely get much water inside and prefer bailing with a big car wash sponge. I plan on mounting the bracket with a stainless steel bolt and a washer and wing nut on the inside of the hull. No new holes, super secure, easy to remove if needed and right out front on the tip of the bow.
Bought the Elite 2 weeks ago for the bow and they give you a Micro for free!

Like everybody else has said, these lights look perfect! Thank you for sharing. I’m going to wait for the updated version. Can you ask them to consider using usb-c for charging? Not that this will stop me from purchasing, it would just be nice.

I thought the strobe on top was a Photocell Light Sensor, would of been awesome if it was but instead it’s a strobe and I’m still seeing spots

How long do they last.
These seem cool, but would be even better if they could all link up to an app on your phone via bluetooth to turn on and off, instead of having to leave on all day or reach out to the front of your kayak and turn off on the water. But running all day and just charging them later isn't too big of a deal.

I’ll find out soon for the new micros but I know that the elites will last week will run for two days … because I’ve left em on before 🤙🏼
The lights only last for an hour then they need to be charged again
I just bought a micro. I thought it was bad because it only last an hour on full bright. Nope. That’s all it lasts.
I timed it on low power today. I forgot though. Lasted somewhere between 4 and 6. I think it was closer to 6 hours on low light for the micro.

Are the micro lights bright enough to fish with? meaning not use a headlamp an just use these to fish? What about the elites are those better to fish at night with without a headlamp or are these strictly for been seen an not for being able to see the water to fish?
You can defuse the micros or the Elites for fishing, the lights spreads out great!!
I think,..."Water Proof" up to 3 meters is more accurate,...as their website states. Hmm, I still like these puppies...
Idk if it's a law where you are or something, but your water craft only has to have red and green on the bow if it is motored. A kayak is only required to have the 360 light and green on the bow. Red indicates motor powered.
Laws are different in every state, just use the setup that’s legal for your waters.. 👍🏼
Hi TJ have you used the GA lights yet……. I am asking because I used my green and red one and I was on the water for 45 minutes and it died….. before anyone ask I charged it up…….

Without a wireless way to turn them off and on it's not really an option for me. I'll stick with my wired yakpower system.
Why not use LED bicycle lights, just as portable, bright and under ten bucks per light.
They need go pro style clips to clip the lights to because magnets don't work on plastic.
The magnet base is peel and stick. They stick to the kayak. 👍🏼

I’ve got these and they work well, but the fact you’ve got risk falling out of the kayak to get to them and turn them off makes them a bad purchase for me.
Tighter camera shot would be so much better .

Bought the kayak kit and they are junk! The stern light only lasts 20 minutes. I contacted them and they stated that it is only supposed to last 20 minutes! What's the point of this if I'm night fishing and can't be safe.
