This was great XD but honestly, we gotta give nissan the credit it deserves for how many JDM icons they've built in the past. I mean there's the Skyline line up (12 models not including trim levels), The S chassis (6 models not including trims), the Fairlady (7 models not including trims), all of which most if not all models from the lineups were a huge success. Nevermind the other popular nissan cars such as the gloria, president/sovereign, their pick up trucks, and other models. Nissan definitely isn't the company they were 20-30 years ago, but imo they're trying (but we all know they could do better)

I liked seeing the Nissan Z31 being towed. My mom had a 1985 Nissan Maxima that was often stuck on a tow truck because electrical glitches stopped it. The Z31 and the 1985 Maxima shared an engine. However, I would laugh if seppuku and karoshi happened to the guys that turned the VG30E sideways to build the Maxima. It still had some cool features if you liked Knight Rider and Tron. It did influence me to be the kind of car guy I am. It made me want a 300ZXTT when it went on sale. Also, reading an article about getting 450HP in a 300ZXTT is how I learned much of the car stuff that I know.

Can testify personally, I was about to pull the trigger on a Frontier because they had a model that was $13K less expensive than the Tacoma I was interested in. Both were brand new. I wanted a truck with a manual transmission. Frontier had a single cab, 2wd, 4cylinder hand crank window Frontier for sale brand new at $22K, that technically offered a manual transmission, but the dealer said it's going to be a long wait getting one. Went with the Tacoma TRD sport.
