Your Orchid looks healthy. They don't normally flower more then once a year. The old flower stalk thats dried out can be cut back. If you haven't repotted it from the original plant medium you might want to replant it. The moss the stores have them in isn't good for the orchid. Those things you don't know what they are, are air roots. They take moisture from the air. I love that sticky plant. I'm gonna have to try and find one. I love carnivouris plants.
I am in shock! I didn't know that the USA has Primark stores. I thought it was just the UK and Ireland. Those fleece lined leggings sold out last winter at my local store. (I,m in West London UK). Finally managed to get a pair and they are definitely a staple to wear for chilly popups and markets. Oh and the fluffy faux fur socks. Get a pair of those. They are amazing. I have Raynaud's and my feet can go numb from the cold. Those socks have prevented that completely so far.

I'm so surprised that there are outdoor markets in December? There must be so much less traffic as not everyone would be willing to walk the market in the freezing weather.

You’d be surprised. People go to the tree lightings and then walk it. They are some of my best shows of the year
