Know what? I’m just gonna say it. This is the best 2d mario game. There’s so much personality, and I always love it when people say that the land games are main series games.
I’ve just recently found your videos and I love how detail oriented these are. Like with your yoshi’s island you put the tree and mountains in the exact spots, those are the details that really make the piece come to life
Both Your Super Mario World and Mario Land maps are awesome. Same goes for the other world maps. Looking at the comments I am surprised nobody mention this, you should try doing the world map from "Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game" since it is inspired from Super Mario World's layout.
I would have to use 3x as much clay if I did this lol I'm always impressed how you can do things on such a small scale! The flowers are a good addition, glad you took the time!
This is incredible! I thought you’d make it at a larger scale for the small details but you managed to make it at that size! The pumpkin zone came out the best imo

And now I'm really interested in the colored version of this game someone made! But im gonna stick with playing the originals first, even if it means playing a game without color for the first time.
You know what you could do that's very similar to this? your animal crossing island! it would be so neat to see and you could give stories about your island, oh it would be so cool!
I love micro builds. Seriously huge props to you for making these, I feel like making these would drive me insane trying to make such a small thing with tools.
@@Kerobyxclay I have a few ideas, any overworld map from Super Mario Bros Deluxe, it’s basically the original Super Mario Bros game on the Gameboy color but it does have a linear Overworld map that is different for each world. Star world from Super Mario World. And the last idea I have is quite a big one, its the Overworld map from New Super Mario Bros U.
Oh I didn't know that about mario bros deluxe, I'll check that out! I've been considering mario bros u for a long time now. It'll take like 2 months haha.

I posted a video recently of all the clay tools I use, that could be a good starting point! The clay I use is called fimo soft, but there are tons of different brands out there.

I really hope you’ve been able to play through these games. I know you had mentioned in the the SMW video that you hadn’t played it fully,but these are too good not to finish. Also, not sure if you mentioned it but that little Mario is actually mechanical, probably the most fun area of the game. So cool. GREAT VID

I hope you make a clay version of the entire Mario Kart 64 stage of Bowsers Castle. maybe you should make it a larger clay model than usual for that one it would be so cool I love N64 Bowsers Castle from Mario Kart 64 that stage is so cool
Great job scultping the island.. The amount of detail is astounding. The only issue I see is that your initial cutout of the island includes the elevation (brown) part of the island. This in turn make the island longer. In some cases, the create deformities, such as the ladder from Mario Land Zone is in at the end of a canyon/valley instead of being straight on a cliff. Cutting out the grass only would have fix that.
Really cool build! I love your other videos but the Mario world maps seem to be my favorite. I’d love to see maybe one of the New Super Mario world maps
Super Mario land 2 such an underrated game It's really nistalgic for me of course I'm to young to have had a game boy but I remember playing it on the 3ds
Seeing this and Yoshis Island made me really happy. Definitely two of my fave games ever growing up. I'm not sure how it would look since the maps are vertical but Donkey Kong Country 2 or 1 would be awesome to see. Keep up the great work!

A lot of the colors I use are mixed from other colors, there's a lot of mixing involved lol
