K-Drama Synopsis:
Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 tells the story of Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) #leedongwook being unexpectedly dragged back in time to 1938, during Japan's occupation of Korea, due to events that occurred after Tale of the Nine Tailed, where he met Lee Rang (Kim Bum) #kimbum and Ryu Hong-joo (Kim So-yeon) #kimsoyeon of that era.
Our Gumiho hero from Tale of the Nine Tailed is thrown back into 1938 after a unique stone is stolen for evil intents. In order to return the stone to its proper time period, our hero must deal with both friends and foes from his past, including his estranged brother.
