I like this style. I get to see things your store has that ours doesn’t. Our Walmart doesn’t sell wine or liquor. They only sell beer and wine coolers. Busch Light in the farmer print all the way. We do like the apple flavor as well. Was told this is the last year they are doing it.
I asked the guy at the liquor store today because I heard that too he said they will keep bringing back every year around this time so not sure what to believe. Either way I'll live lol I normally buy regular light beer or vodka🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I live in Minnesota we don't have liquor or wine in our grocery stores only 3.2 beer. (Minnesota)
I like a mixture of both. When you do it this way, I get to see different things tour store has and more of the prices.

I loved this one for a change! Also being Canadian it allows me to see the prices of the other things around the area of the product you are buying!
Omg I would have never done self checkout with that amount of items; going through the store shopping for it is more than enough work for me. 😂😂

Groceries have gotten so expensive ! Sometimes I decide I can live without an item because it’s so expensive .

All in all, decent & productive shopping trip. I remember commenting on one of your videos awhile back saying my weekly grocery budget was $200 (for my family of six in NJ) & I remember you replying that I was doing great staying within the budget. Times have vastly changed. The exact same items I normally purchase (bread, milk, eggs, meals, etc.) now cost my family $300 or more. One week I spent close to $400 & I sat in the car & cried. We don't buy many snack items (except for my husband's lunches or kids lunches) or have any specific dietary needs. These are the basic groceries I've always bought. It's just so sad. I expect things to gradually get more expensive over time but not within a couple of months. We're all doing the best we can with what we have. I'm sorry for the long tangent. Just wanted to give you an update. Love your channel.
I know this can be very frustrating, but for me thos was a big motivation to make drastic dietary changes - trying to eat as much whole foods plant based as possible (not 100%). I looked into blue zones diet and the diet recommended by dr. Michael greger (how not to die) which are both mainly whole foods plant based. We feel so much better and our groceries are far cheaper.
I totally understand how you feel. My fiancé and I love to cook and $150 used to last us 2 weeks worth of food for the both of us. Now our grocery bill is $150 per week and that is good worth 1 week only. I’m considering working Instacart on the weekends just to make grocery bill. :-(

Hi Jen. I loved watching you go around the store and seeing the different products available in Walmart. We don’t have Walmart here in New Zealand or Australia so it was fun to see some of our New Zealand wines on the shelf. And like you our food prices have soared in recent months so I was also price checking. Our local supermarket recently stopped stocking lettuces as they were $9 each following floods and crop wipeouts. I saw them back on the shelves again, but still had a hugely inflated price. We are all in the same situation with food, petrol and energy prices going up. Love your channel. Warmest regards from the Sunshine Coast of Australia 🇦🇺

You should try to go to some secondhand stores they have super cool and cute canning jars and decor I love going and finding all sorts of treasures for my kitchen in my house and it’s not as expensive🥰

Jen, I like watching you shop, although it makes me hungry. I’m so glad to see that I’m not the only one who uses self-checkout, with a huge cart of groceries. I didn’t used to use self- checkout, but here in NY, Walmart and a couple other stores won’t pack groceries. If I’m going to pack my own anyway, I might as well ring them myself. The other bonus is I can be sure they are ringing correctly. I’m just getting cranky as I get older😃
I really like this type of haul. It gives me a chance to compare our prices here in TN to your alls prices. It also let's me see what your walmart carries that mine doesn't. Hope the feedback helps.

I love it! And now I understand why you were texting me about booze shopping here. Y’all can just go to town right at the Walmart!! 😆🙌 Side note- I use that dressing for all my pasta salads. I usually pour out some of the oil when it’s separated to make the flavor even stronger but it’s really good either way!
I think it’s fun to change things up sometimes with the style of the haul.

Our milk is actually twice the cost of yours, as are our eggs…and just so very many other items, as well.)
Our pantry is filled with the large sized Ball Jars. They last forever, keep staples fresh, and look kind of old school, but still cool, on our pantry shelves. Love them. 🙂
Amazon has the True Lemon/Lime/Orange/Grapefruit packets. Love them. Helps me drink more water. I like this video gives me ideas on different things to try from Walmart.
I bought 2 of those big ball jars a few weeks ago to transfer homemade sangria to a polo match and it was fabulous! Love them.
I can’t believe you can get liquor at Walmart. We can’t. Have to stop at the liquor store on the way home. Lucky you.

I probably like on the counter better, but changing it up from time to time is fun variety too. I definitely like when you comment what you are going to use an item for. Also, you kept commenting on how some things were only available in a really large package. I have been noticing the same thing at our Walmart! I just need 4 of something but have to get a 12-16 pack! I hate that.
I like seeing different products in the store. It's fun, as you have some different items than I can get at my Walmart in Ontario 🇨🇦

I like this in-store version because it gives me an idea of *where* in the store you found the item (based on the surrounding items). Some things are obvious, but others less so. Stores can be sneaky and hide stuff away in the oddest areas. lol

I dont know where i found yr link, Ive been watching budget food shops and its interesting to see how much disposable income there is. I think the budget ones had skewed my vision , That shopping trolley has masses of processed foods, and im like wow super impressed at yr shopping skills
Loved watching the "shop with me" portion of the video too. Question on the freezer pans, is there any special way to freeze your leftovers in them? Do you just throw the extras in the pan and call it a day? Never used them before.

Definitely like this style! I shopcat walmart for my groceries through pick up so seeing you pick up items im not used to seeing definitely helps me expand my grocery list! Plus the little tid bits of you saying this is good or get these cups for example helps me shop non-grocery items 😉

Girl, as far as I am concerned whatever is easiest for you on any given day! I like both I think bc it is fun to see things laid out sometimes. BUT, it also must be a bit of a pain to have to lay it all out and film it and talk about it then put it all away! Blessings regardless!
Those lens wipes are at Sam's Club. Much bigger package that will last a long time.

I like this style plus you can just bring your groceries home and put them away versus having to set everything on the counter.
