All and all Nick gives great rational advice. Yes these markets will all go up in the long term. He is halping you to not lose money in the short and fully capitalize on gains. It is highly likely to have a major down turn before the upside. Ignore the analysis if you would like, but he has been though the ups and downs before. This is valuable info.

I keep watching videos about bitcoin, and you are by far the most reasonable. I'm intrigued by bitcoin, and see people have made a lot of money, but, and it's a big but, bitcoin is really no different or better than any other USD derivative and ultimately has no value, relying on new investors "buying in" to allow previous investors to cash out. In itself, bitcoin, has no backing or value and to me is an empty bubble that will one day pop leaving everyone still owning them with nothing. Add to that the huge amounts of energy needed (2% plus of global use), how can it continue?
Btc will have his value in the future because the money system is broken and the only solution is printing money wich create a bigger gap between rich and poor. If you are not on the side of the printing machine, buy btc
The Halving event never did anything. It was 4-6 months after it.
If by the time halving happens, liquidity does not pour back into the markets then half of the BTC miners will get wiped out

can you give me an example of a backed asset with an inherent value? What does it mean to be backed? What's the inherent value of gold?
