Yaaaaaas, finally. THANK you sooo much, I have been watchiing videos for 2 days & you are the first to solve my issue. Now I have to add a condition to route the form to specific approvers depending on a selection on the form. Great & clear instructions.
Thank you for the video! This works perfect for the Outlook email approval requests, but I can't see my attachment in the Approvals app in Teams. Are there extra steps needing to be taken to ensure I can see the attachment in Teams?
Hi, your video helped me a lot when I am using personal form. May I know if I am using a group form, I will face issue at the Get file content action. My file is stored in SharePoint sites, Shared Document > Apps > Microsoft Form > [File Name] > [Question request to upload attachment] > [Attachment File Name] Could you give advice? Thank you!
Hello, I have tried this method but when I put more than one attachment, only one file attached and approval looping two times for each file. Any thought?
Thanks for the thorough explanation. Please, is it possible for the the approver to view the form itself before approving? The approver will like to view a display of the form filled before approving. is it possible?
Hi Samuel, thank you for your comment. You can add the details of the form to the Approval. I guess what matters here is seeing what the person filled. Better way to view the form than a link
Hi! thank you so much for the video but how do i extract email id from sharepoint list for when the approval status is set for 'pending' but it is a multi level workflow.
Is there a video where you show us how you can add multiple attachments to Forms and so the approval mail? I can only get one attachment thourgh the flow with your help.
Hi, thank you for going through this resource. You can add multiple attachment directly to the Parse JSON Action Card. Just add as many file upload questions on the form to the Parse JSON input. Leave other action cards intact. It will processes the multiple inputs and add all as attachment to the approval. Try this and let me know if it works.
@@TheOyinbooke i tried this but it triggers separate workflow for each file where only after approval of first file, second workflow is initiated. Let me tell you my used case. I have two questions in Microsoft form to upload different files. For eg: Question 1: upload offer (this can have one or multiple files as upload) Question 2: upload negotiated order (this can have one or multiple files as upload). Now lets take a case if a a person uploads two files in question 1 and two files in question 2. Then the result expected is all four files to come as attachment in single email for approval. Currently i am getting only file 1 from question 1 for approval, once it is approved, get file 2 of Question 1 for approval. Files from question 2 are not sent. Eagerly awaiting your reply
I have both teams and outloook install on my system. The request pops up in Teams for like 5 seconds and then the outlook will show Request 9 was rejected without clicking on anything. Though if i open teams i will be able to approve from my approval add on. What seems to be the problem please?
thank you so much, i have case like this i make a form and result of form i put in word with a mail merge concept, and i have a file of word that if responder fill the form and upload document the admin will aprove it after seeing the document. after seeing it admin will send a pdf that field of form has wrote on mail merge? can i use it in power automate ?

Thanks a lot for your message. This error is likely due to the file extension. Can you check the name of the file in the attachment. Did you add the file extension to it?
Dear Sir...thank you for posting this video. Suppose i allowed multiple upload in my form...let say 3 Will it send three approvals cause of the loop? Kindly help with this. I need one approval to be sent with all files attached
Hi Varun Goolaub, thanks for finding this video useful. If the upload files are more than one, they will still get uploaded along side. Kindly try it out and let me know if it work for you.
Am getting multiple approval...depending on number of file i hv uploaded...one more thing after approval I need to update sharepoint with manager response n comments...it prevents me to do so in that loop. If u hv any idea on this...kindly let me know. Thank you for ur video :)

After watching the latest video I have a question which is the attachment in a Microsoft form shouldn’t it be saved automatically to One drive or Sharepoint? And if so, why use JSON when you can use the sharepoint or one drive directly? Kindly help expatiate more the need for the JSON code?
By default, every attachment in Microsoft Forms are saved in a folder on OneDrive for business. However, for you to use the attachment meant for each respondents in Power Automate, you will need to follow the process shown here. E.g. we want to make sure the manager who is receiving the approval request have access to any supporting document, this is why we use Power Automate to attach the file alongside. I do hope this clarifies your question?
