I've been using the BMV Hickory lump charcoal has a good flavor I just went and bought some of the briquettes I haven't tried them yet on my 18in Weber kettle
I am over a year late watching this one,...very impressed. I want to share with you that when ever I have closed the exhaust stack at all it kind of gave off a dirty smoke flavor,..is that why you ride it fully open?
I always have the top smoke stack open. It helps to keep a clean burn. It allows the right amount of air to travel out. The side exhaust stack is what should always be used first to control your temp. If Temps are hard to control, then use the top smoke stack to better control your Bronco.
@PaulieDetmurds you're welcome! Keep messing with the side exhaust stack and you will get a better understanding on how to keep the Temps low and consistent.
This is amazing bro, good job, I do have a concern/queatuon though I was always taught to wait till the black burn off the Bricketts before adding meat, is that not the case on how you smoke????
When you see me add meat to my Bronco, I've already adjusted the side air intake to get the desired temp of my Bronco, which is usually at 250f. Within minutes the charcoal will settle down because of the adjustment I made and will no longer need to burn hot and the black smoke will stop and it will start to burn clean. So I am always adding my food when the Bronco has gotten to the temp that I want it at.
Good video Brother! That Bronco and the B&B charcoal is a beast! I have been thinking about doing a video seeing how long I can get out of the Pro pan as well. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👊🏻🍻
Question.. when you use the bronco to grill do you put the charcoal pan directly on the diffuser? I don’t know if I’d ever do a 20 hour cook but I’m goin to scoop up some B&B..
Yes. Sometimes I flip the diffuser to raise the charcoal basket closer or keep it the way it is and place the ash pan on top of it and then place charcoal basket on tip of ash pan, so it catches the ashes and not allowing ashes to fall every where in the Bronco. A brisket will get you up to 20 hrs lol. Just make sure the brisket will fit if you lay it on a charcoal grate or hang it.
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ for sure… the Weber taught me fire control and after seasoning the Bronco up i screwed around with the dampers I think it will be a quick learning curve! Maybe ribs, maybe wings tonight not sure!
B&B charcoal briquettes are amazingly good. B&B and jealous devil briquettes are the best you can buy. Well done.
Thank you for watching. Jealous devil I will have to try.
Good demonstration bro, glad Walmart started carrying B&B briquettes and lump now.
Thank you! I tried to let everyone see how well B&B briquettes work in the Bronco. For sure, I could have gotten more hours out of it.
Bro thank you for this video I was neglecting my Bronco until I saw this video getting my money's worth now 💪🏾
Thank you for watching! Time to fire up your Bronco!

Thank you for watching! I say do the video. I would like to see it.
I've already picked up some B&B...Do you remember what your longest burns were with the kingsfords?
In the Bronco, it was 15 hours.
Did you by your smoker with the numbers on the damper?
No. It came that way with the Bronco.

@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ thanks bro.. I’ll screw around with it today..
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ longest cook on my Weber was 13 hours, but it’s good info for sure..
The best thing to do is cook on it. Best way to learn your Bronco. It's a blast using it.

WOW ! very impressive !
Yes it is!
Noticed the difference in B&B my first bag.
B&B in the Bronco is great!
Nice! Thanks for info 🤘🎸
You're welcome and thank you for watching!
Love b and b charcoils $$
They are fantastic.
Is that the original charcoal basket?
Yes. It can hold 8 pounds of charcoal. The Bronco Pro charcoal basket holds up to 17 pounds of charcoal.
Man, mine just been collecting cob webs
It's time to dust it off. I seen on Instagram the fish you've been catching, cook em up in the Bronco!
I think that could have gone all the way to 25 hours......do a super low and slow Brisket @ 180° set temp for that long
I believe it would have. I plan on doing another one and let it burn out. I was thinking at 225.

On this cooker....can you conceiveable get 12 racks of ribs hanging for a cook?
Yes, you can. 3 racks of ribs for the 3 hangers.
