  • Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Drewry Railcar return ride, Havenstreet to Wootton. A sunny day trip in this beautifully built railcar reconstruction that represents the very best of the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment that is a pleasure to be able to bring to viewers to this channel. A second railcar trailer is in the process of being finished at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in the UK and this two railcar set will undoubtedly be a supreme accomplishment. One trip, in fact, only one press of the camera button for the whole trip video, so I do hope that you enjoy the ride as much as everyone on board with me certainly did ! Enjoy.
Please visit the Isle of Wight Steam Railway web site for an excellent description with photographs of the history and the process of bringing this Drewry Railcar project to completion.
Do view the Subtitles to help understanding.

It's great fun and a spectacular achievement to have completed such a wonderful project. I've had a look at your channel, a lot of similar interests. Very good. All the best for now, WooWooMad.

More of a toot toot than a wow wow, nice to see an old bit of IOW history up and running.

Thanks for showing this ,Let's hope it becomes a success with the 2 car set looks like you could do with a cushion or was this 3RD class!!!

Wooden benches were standard when used on Ryde Pier - a two-minute ride had no need of cushions, so it is historically accurate as a Ryde Pier Tram

Dear @ramseybarber8312, Oh ! I don't think there is going to be any problem with this project being a success. It is just a marvelous privilage to be able to ride in this amazing vehicle. The craftmanship is simply superb and it will certainly pay for itself very quickly with the amount of interest it is generating. Come on Hornby get your tape measures out ! Thanks for the comment. Best wishes WooWooMad.
