Jeez, I never thought that i,d hear myself say this, but Wardley is avoiding the rematch, he says he has options & that's great, but none of them are as big as the rematch with Clarke, none of those options are with Wilder, Parker, Fury, Usyk, Dubois, Zhang, Joyce, Hrgovic, or Chisora, if Wardleys next fight is not the Clarke rematch, then i feel that it will just get pushed further & further back, while Wardley makes easier title defences, against lower ranked fighters. I thought that Wardley won the 1st fight, but only just, & it took more out of him than he realised, & now he's is not confident of beating Clarke, that's my opinion, but i could be wrong.

If we rate fights using such parameters as fierceness, most brutal, etc Wardley vs Frazer earlier this year will rank tops. Those two were bloody good. Wardley is a ferocious fighter. Depending on his conditioning at the time of a fight, how well he tweaks his psyche and inner man, whoever meets him when he's psychologically and mentally tuned, will have to contend with what hits em. His dreams and horizons are far beyond rematch clauses. He'll be breaking boundaries soon.
Hope Turki comes to the rescue with the bag otherwise Wardley is going to duck... This rematch would make a good chief support to Usyk vs Fury 2. Part 1 was an ATG British title bout. It's not fair on Clarke who IMO won & it would've been official if not for that BS PTS deduction. Although I suppose the belt is as good as won if Wardley ducks since the BBBoC ordered it, Clarke will get to fight someone presumably easier for the vacant.
