여축보면 여자니까 힘과 스피드가 딸리는건 이해하는데 기본기 자체가 너무 부실하던데. 기본적인 터치나 움직임. 축구지능 등 걍 아마추어임. 절대 프로라고 할수 없음.

The Korean team showed class, a rare commodity in American soccer. The are disadvantaged by their smaller physique, weight and height. If this were golf they would benefit from a handicap to compensate. No such luck in FIFA soccer.
South Korean’s goalie stole the show for sure. she is amazing!
On the USA side of things I think Lindsey Horan needs to play in a higher position rather than the holding midfield. Her finishing, hustle and aerial dominance are needed in a higher position. We need Ertz back there at holding mid. Also I’m hoping Sam Mewis is recovering well we need her back in midfield. I also can’t wait for Christen Press’ return.

Refreshing to see South Korea stand up like this (👏🏻goalie/defense), like the commentator said, better than some others.. I would say their limitation here was the “sprint” aspect, which I understand if they’re shorter in stature. I’m only 5’0 and when I run it is not graceful lol. They could also be more aggressive in their goal attempts, but that goes in hand with the quickness and they just not have the ball most of the time..
The headline here is that South Korea is a formidable team with an impenetrable defense and physical fitness that equals our team's own. That was not always the case. I love number 2, now that she has piped down and isn't as cantankerous as she used to be. A very hard worker. The captain (love her hair) has excellent control over her team and their play
almost looks like an never-ending series of set pieces. What a delight to watch!

SK goalie deserves credit for a great game. Otherwise, SK barely poked their noses across midfield compared to the USWNT. Tying a game gets you a point in group play but you must win games to win tournaments. Only one team was trying to win this friendly.

Rose Lavelle seems to possess superior speed and skill than anyone on the US team. What a tremendous asset.
You are in that camp that says Rose Lavelle can do no wrong. After observing her for 3 years I have noticed that she does not walk on water. Her passes are often sloppy and
shots on goal are below par. Her footwork excels but she loses too many one-on-ones.

all asian teams play..i watched and one thing i noticed that while hands throw, they throw nonsense..they can not find the where to throw..they throw..to the one who is in the middle of opponents... others throw in the open space...asian teams need to study...

They are all beautiful, some are just more so and it is a matter of taste. Lindsey, bless her heart, is a bit on the heavy and clumsy side. This could be corrected of she put her mind to it. I remember when she played in France for nearly 3 years. Her team mates (and probably her coach) where pretty hard on her as she reported afterward. And coming from the lower realms of society she lacked the culture, charm and charisma to endear herself to her playmates.
Time to get rid of the usa coach… so many great players out there…but going no where under him…this game looked like the olympics 😬

What constant banging? The Drums? I hate the yelling a lot more. Neither needs to be tolerated so long as the organizers of the events are not complete morons who just love the cacophony, the louder, the merrier. They think it improves the ambiance and makes people happy. I think they are a public nuisance that should be disallowed. But in our barbarian culture something would be amiss if stadia would suddenly promote a modicum of culture and disallow this atrocious clamor.
Again terrible referees, how come they can’t see the fouls committed by The Korean team , and then heheh referee accuse the Americans in many of the fouls.

What a game. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. Sad for Lloyd but happy it didn't end up in a defeat on her last ever game for the team.

Well the whole point of this Carli farewell tour was to welcome back the Olympians. There will definitely be call ups and lineup changes in the next camp. If you really want to see a group of grandmas with superstar names but aging bodies, check out the Orlando Pride team which funny enough has Alex Morgan.
Well there you have it, they had a young roster for the Australia games in November with no players over 30 in both starting lineups.

Having a lineup of newbies wouldn't have sold tickets and they wouldn't have had as many people there. They cared about making money on the match.

South Korea has a defense we can only dream of. Our forwards crash on that fortification every time.
We played well and I really like Smith's work (O'Hara's work not so much). And I really would have wished that Carly would have had a good-bye goal, but on the other hand you might say that her play told her (and us) that it was time to hang them up. A great dame leaving the battle field with her head held high. I love her.

In words of Aiki the US "lack young han energy" lol. America's reign in women's football is coming to an end. Teams like Spain, England and Germany have youth, skill and experience making them major contenders while America's best player are on their way out. The next World Cup is gonna be interesting for sure.
This comment is from March, 2023 and I can assure you, that there have been major changes. As you watch today's matches you will note that there quite a few new, young, talented players that have replaced much of the old guard with the exception of Rapino
and Sauerbrun. Life after Sauerbrun will be dreary and unconsolable. This great lady deserves her own life-size bronze like the one the 99ners evoked.

toward the end of games. Sauerbrun is ageless and her talent is essential to the success of the time, no matter how old she is. ALL the other players have been replaced with much
younger ones. Look at the 2022 games against Australia and you get a general idea what is happening.

Li Le, don't get disheartened so quickly. Remember, the US women's teams, current and former, have been FIFA world champions four (4) times ans they go into the next one only four months away (it is the middle of March 2023 as I write this). With the new, much younger roster, they have shown great promise to continue the US' gold streak. Hang in there, you might be amazed.

Double team. English is not a consistent language. But it is the right expression. Webster: to block or guard (an opponent) with two players at one time.

Why does US team called USWNT? Shouldn't they be called the the United States or USA. The South Korean team is just called South Korea and not SKWNT.

It is a bit confusing, right? For starters, the word ‘American’ has been usurped by the people of USA. Geographically, there are 35 countries in the Americas.
So we can call it the US team. But the women’s team is more popular than the men’s team. And Americans (from the US) absolutely love abbreviations.
So you have USMNT and USWNT. In other countries, a national soccer team almost automatically means the the men’s team.
Hence the M or W. And adding the N probably gives the team a sense of pride.

We can hardly blame the USA citizens for calling themselves Americans because the rest of the world does exactly that (perhaps with the exception of some of the other 34 American nations). I have lived in Mexico for 10 years and I can assure you that no local ever called us anything other than Americans. Now, in their own Spanish language that is decidedly not the case. But in Germany and the rest of Europe everybody calls us the Americans. Norte Americanos are unheard of. USA citizens, being uneducated islanders, have always had an exaggerated view of themselves,
just think of the idea of American exceptionalism.

May it be a happy one. Retire already! Not that the nation does not appreciate your many contributions to women's soccer, on the field and off. I, for one, never got over your theatrics, headline grabbing and narcissism.
But in the right situation nobody beats Rapinoe. She still is the only player who can successfully execute a free kick above the heads of the wall and then get it on frame. I also suspect that in private she is a very nice person, but unfortunately, we never got to see that side of her when she was not on stage.
This team is a shell of what it was. Too many woke distractions.
