  • Here we focus primarily on the training and exercise we saw while we visited the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art for their great horse show. Because filming was not allowed inside during the actual horse show, we show you scenes of the beautiful grounds, the museum and how these stunning animals are trained and cared for at the Fundacion Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre.
The show, of course, is also very spectacular and one of a kind. While visiting the museum we enjoyed the video presentation, then walked about to see saddles being repaired / created. The grounds are beautifully laid out and include the Palacio Duque de Abrantes (Palace of Abrantes).
The music heard during the slide show is Easy Day by Kevin MacLeod, from the free You Tube Audio Library.
As is usual with us, Ed did all the camcorder filming and narrations heard, while I did all of the still photography, chose the music, edited it all, etc. and uploaded to You Tube.

Thank you for commenting; so glad I brought back some fond memories for you. Lucky you, to be able to live there for some time. I'm assuming you also attended the wonderful annual horse festival - I've got 2 nice videos up of that, as well, one during the daylight hours, the other with the nighttime splendor of the lights. It was one of the prime motivations for us to visit Jerez and we were not disappointed, but then again...we loved everything about Andalusia.

When I was in Jerez and Andalusia I went to the riding school show and saw the exercising, practices, etc. but with no video, so I can't thank you enough for this and the low-key narration too. Spain is not to be missed, whether Andalusia, the Basque coast, everywhere I've been.

Thanks, 2 more Spain videos to come tomorrow and on Sunday. All of these are from the very southern area known as Andalusia. Some of Lawrence of Arabia and most of the Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns were filmed in this region. Many arid areas around here & the coast of Africa is just over the straits of Gilbraltar. Of course the main influence here is that there is so much old Moorish influence, as they ruled this country for quite some time. In some of the cities, towns, you do often feel as if you are in that world. The architecture is out of this world whether you agree with the religion or not.

Thanks, same here. I've got so much back-log it's ridiculous. And, we are going to Europe again in just a few months, this time London and Paris split up during a 3 week tour. And, of course, tons of filming...LOL

A wonderful experience to visit this facility. No need to go to Vienna now.

Thank you for posting/sharing this. It greatly added to my own personal visit and experience that did not include any horses being exercised or a stork's nest! I will share your video on FB! Great job, guys! I'm surprised this video isn't used by the cruise ships as advertisements for the Cadiz port of call.
