This was super helpful. My wife dropped and cracked mine :/ needed to open up and make sure nothing else was disconnected, including checking to see if hard drive was still properly mounted. Peiced it back together, turned on like a charm, except I plugged the keyboard in wrong. Came back to this video to see how they were originally connected. Thanks!
Static strap appears to not be connected at all. Never use a knife. Power screw drivers help to strip screw heads and treads. Otherwise, great job!! Just trying to help.

its like surgeon's work :D ...I just dropped my e205 and it was cracked a minor one on the left bottom side of the screen....just beside the screw....but the front and back side of the monitor don't want to close perfectly...there is a gap between them...I will be glad if you can help :D thanks!
where is the location of cmos battery on toshiba satellite e205?, please tell me, i need fast respon, because my cmos bastery on my e205 is no longer working (cmos failure).thank you
You might try keeping the computer in front of the camera THE WHOLE TIME, so we are not guessing at what you are doing. It's SO annoying when you are trying to figure out why it doesn't want to come apart in a certain spot, and some guy is helping you by pulling the entire computer out of the frame so you have to guess WTH he just did and if you might have missed something.
