My daughter has ADD so I can relate totally to what you are saying. I love listening to your rambling. I also love the way you take two totally unrelated sticker books and make them work together like they were designed that way.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed at what seems to be the randomness of putting the spread together but then when you finish I love how it has all come together into a beautiful and functional spread. Then I see your after the pen and I love what you have done even more. Thanks for adding those little tips about how and why you have chosen a sticker and the placement. Those are very helpful. I love watching, learning and getting inspired!
Mary Ellen, I know I sound like a broken record by now (or maybe a fangirl), but I just can't get over how alike we are. I tried to get my mom into planning last year. I had this huge grin on my face sitting down next to her all excited and proud. I opened one up and showed her 2 or 3 spreads and she just looked at me and said. . . "Lyndsey, I could never do this! It would drive me crazy. . . how do you even read them?" LOL I absolutely have a crazy brain! But I gotta say, it sure feels good when someone at work asks me to take a look at something because I "think differently". :)
That is the exact same response I get from my daughter and husband when they look at my spreads. 🤣😂🤣

So many things to say. First beautiful spread. Second I LOVE Parenthood. Third I agree with what some others say to quote you...YOU DO YOU. That being said I don't have ADD or ADHD (I don't think) and I plan THE SAME WAY. I tried once to be "neat" (for a lack of a better term because my brain can't think of one😂) and I hated it and stopped planning. 3 years later I started watching RUclips and found you and your spreads speak to my creative soul❤
Omg Mary Ellen, Parenthood was the best! I was so sad that they ended it. This is Us is another good one but that is in its final season now too 😪. ADHD is a bugger for sure. We are fabulous multitasking machines though. My ADD is one reason I started planning. We are who we are. Don't ever feel like you need to explain yourself or Apologize for it. I tell people that I have ADD and if they can't keep up they may want to rethink being around me.

I love all of the clusters and thinking out of the box. ♥️♥️♥️ I tend to cluster my spreads as well and have always thought I used to many stickers. Thank you for showing another side of planning. I love it and your inspiration! Hoping that 2022 is a better year.

I think your putting time limits makes total sense and will help you with your business goals. I mean, doesn’t everyone do this at their job? I have dozens and dozens of tasks on my plate on any given day, and I have to apply strict time management and prioritization of my tasks to get my job done. Even though I’m not self employed, I’m also not micro-managed- my manager fully expects me to figure out how to get it all done without his assistance (tbf, I’m a senior level employee, so I should be able to). That’s what you are doing as well. Makes total sense to me!

I love your spreads. I wish I could do more dimensional spreads I feel like mine are so boring. Also you inspired me to start timing myself so that I can get through my spread quickly, which I need because I have 3 classic size planners and I’m getting a mini. 😂

I just adore you and how you plan. I have ADHD and you are so relatable to me. My husband gets frustrated with me when I yell him a story because my brain is faster than my mouth and I usually start a story in the middle . He tells me to stop and start at the beginning. Lol. Love this spread !

Desiree did use another piece of Washi or a sticker on the washi side to lift the backing. I dont think this spread is too busy. Its kind of fun and different!

First of all, what?!?! Someone criticized your clothing in a video where we see your hands?! 🤣 Don’t give that person another thought, ha!
Second, I noticed the paper is also pulling up more. It never did that with washi for me before. And yet I feel like I see even less writing through the pages than I did last year. So I’m not complaining. I’ll just be more careful.
Third, sticker that baby up! 😊 I love hearing why you will or won’t put something somewhere. You were my first introduction to decorative planning last year, and I am so happy to see how far I’ve come in my own process. I like to decorate more since I usually don’t have a ton going on to record.

It's beautiful but my brain agrees the structure of boxes does not work for me. BUT YOU DO YOU!!! That is what planning is about, we all have different styles and ways to think!!!! I think my spreads are boring because how they are the same every week but they work for me. It is hard for me to change it every week. But I still watch your videos for ideas to change up my spreads. Thank you!!!

Ive got ADHD too and love listening to you when you plan. It’s like someone was narrating my own head LOL. Love the stickery week and hope its as enjoyable as it seems. Gonna give a follow too, was sure i had done that before but maybe not then.

Love how your spread turned out Mary Ellen! You are so creative! I am enjoying my Big HP so far this year because it gives me so much more space to decorate. At first it was a little daunting to figure out how to fill up the space, but then things just seem to come together. I love using my scrapbook paper and the HP Big Punch for my boxes sometimes...it's a nice alternative when I can't find the right sticker😊❤

Lol I swear we could almost be twins!!! I love this week... So pretty!!! I want to say... I don't understand ppl, like the one that said don't wear a sweatshirt 🤣🤣🤣 no one really sees it!!! That just cracked me up!!! I always wonder why they just don't skip on by if they don't like it!!! I'm ADD as well but not medicated and I have to add color to everything or I won't look at it!!! I have learned a lot from watching you and this helps me figure out what stickers and pens etc to eventually get 🤗🤗🤗
