There's no functioning artificial gravity in space right now, as the Sir said it's too costly to assemble one. So astronauts experience microgravity for the duration of their time in "space" and they complete their tasks by other ways. And by those other ways what I mean is using special equipments to compensate for microgravity.
And all those scenes of astronauts walking in a spacecraft or station are fictional. That does not exist in reality as of now. Which is also the main thing keeping astronauts from staying longer in space (if they stay long they'll experience the side effects of the absence of gravity and us humans were evolved in the presence gravity) and will do untill we have a ethical solution for artificial gravity.
